The only thing I can think of in western (UK) language that's similar is that I call my parents very close friends aunt/uncle followed by whatever their name is, even though they aren't related. Or at work you use Mr. Miss. or Mrs. and last name to refer to clients I guess to show respect, unless they say to call them by first name - but this is dying out somewhat.

Also I know some people that call all their close friends 'sis' or 'bro'. But I don't think there's anythin comparable in romantic relationships other than pet names, like babe, baby, darling or honey (I call my OH babe more than I say his name). But you can even call friends sweety, hun, chick etc. Then there's people that call every woman darlin (although I think this is really disrespectful).

I'm on epsiode 7 and I'm honestly having to drag my way through it. I don't care about any of the characters yet T_T - maybe this just isn't my cup of tea. I feel like maybe I'm missing something, does it get really good, or does it have a very satisfying ending or something?

Title U-Prince: Hippy Spoiler
This is good but..why don’t they call the police? After all, there is threats and stuff where we can actually…
I've noticed in a couple Thai shows that police don't seem to exist xD Even in the most extreme circumstances, no one calls the police! But might not be the case in all of them.

Okay I was excited for GL content but I see from the comment there might be biphobia and as a bisexual woman I'm…
I'm bi too and I very much dislike one of the characters because she's biphobic BUT as long as it's addressed as though it's wrong, it highlights that biphobia is a real thing that happens and needs to stop.

Review My Day the Series Spoiler
My brain: it's not logical, there's no plot, crazy bitches get away with everything.

My heart: eeeeeek Sky/Ace are so cuddly and perfect, ChukChuk!, Don't stop watching.

I can't help myself loving this absolutely trash show xD

Great article, I really love the breakdown. It's always interesting reading other peoples opinions, especially when they are different from mine & as well written as this.

I tend to enjoy age gap romances (so long as everyone is consenting and they actually love each other - no daddy issues etc). I get that it's contentious, especially when the younger one isn't exactly mature. But, I think you get the same odd dynamics with similar age couples too, like having the naive, innocent FL and the ML who is forever taking care of her (doing up laces, wiping mouths etc). Or the childish ML and the FL that mothers him and looks after him. So I don't really see that as an age gap thing more of a personality/character thing.

As you said, everyone is different in what they find entertaining, age gaps for me just add another layer of complexity to a relationship and a contrast in the characters. When it's a plot point I like the forbidden romance aspect too ""^-^""

This is a well written opinion. I like that you took the time to comment. I've enjoyed reading everyone's comments…
I'm going to ignore most of this because after reading your comment to Jeana I realise that you don't have any intention of actually helping. You're here to feel superior and massage your own ego.

You've misinterpreted Lao Tzu. There's a difference between being a habitual people pleaser and compromise.

Your analogy is flawed. If you never watch or do something you don't like, and assume your opinion in the only one that is 'true' not only will you never grow but you'll also end up very lonely. To quote you 'nothing grows in a comfort zone'.

So if you do have any friends next time maybe watch the movie they want - you might learn something.

Editorials ARE articles with the author's opinions tho? And the use of first person singular is perfectly acceptable.…
Wow. You're quoting Lao Tzu in your response to me and then writing this! Where's your kindness and humility?

If you thought anyone would buy your faux reasonableness & faux intellectualism they certainly won't now.

You think you're somehow better than other people? That your opinion is the only opinion that's allowed or matters? Maybe you do need to draw it and take a look yourself, you twit.

If anyone here is having a 'bitchy moment' it is most definitely you.

Next time don't stalk someone's profile so you can attack them on a personal level, it really ruins that holier than thou bs facade you've got going.

First. I love the formatting and length. It's very soothing to the eyes. Second. I love the picture against disappointment…
Thank you for reading! Wat for disappointed was just too good not to use xD I totally get it, I used to only watch completed shows, so I never took part in the hype. I would just be so done by the end of a hyped drama and sick of hearing about it. Thanks for commenting (✿^‿^)

This is a solid article tbh. I found a lot of things relatable. Very entertaining to read. Good job! ❤
Thank you ❤️ I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Good article! I don't care much about hype but I do hate hyped-up drama and then...nothing. Perfect example, for…
It is mad to me that people can have such high expectations before a drama is even released, or in that case has a release date xD If it's a second season then I can understand, but a great cast doesn't mean it'll be a great show.

I do know that sometimes webtoon/manga/novel adaptations already have a hyped fan base so again I get it but it's important to keep expectations in check.
