Oh, I wanted to comment on Joe's reactions and see if you agree!
I have the impression that what hurts Joe is not even Ming's violence but Ming's words.
Let me explain:
- During the photo shoot, Joe loses his smile when the photographer mentions that Ming only smiles with Tong. Before that, Joe was smiling. - When Ming proposes that Joe be the replacement, Joe is a bit upset, but what completely destroys him (and you can see this in the flashbacks) is when he starts thinking that Ming wants to make him Tong's replacement. - He also has this reaction when Tharn tries to hurt him and Ming comes in. When Joe tells Ming that he thinks it's Tong, Ming defends Tong, and once again, that's what Joe can't stand. - When Ming is violent with him, Joe cries because he thinks Ming wants to make him his dog to replace Tong. - When Tong knocks on the door several times and Ming goes, Joe is not particularly relieved; he is disappointed that Ming talks to Tong as if he had not just accused him.
In fact, Joe is not particularly shocked by Ming's violence and excessive jealousy (in fact, he liked Ming's jealousy). Joe is devastated because he thinks Ming is always thinking about Tong.
Surprisingly, as a human being, I think I would be much more shocked by the violence than by that.
Honestly, I prefer if they make the revelations in just one episode... because we're already at the 8th and not much is happening right now 😅.
Ep 8: Revelation for everyone, it's exhausting to know and see Ming messing up and Joe still hurt. I like drama but not when it's a misunderstanding that lasts ten years.
Imagine waiting a week for Sol, a supporting character, to discover that Joe is Joe... the episode's plot will still revolve around that. They don't seem to want to speed up the events... I'm a bit tired of the unhealthy relationship between Joe and Ming...
I want him to know that it's Joe... because us viewers have known for 7 episodes... it's very long... especially since we don't even have two episodes per week...
Don't forger Ming asked monk if Joe is dead and was told he is not dead... this is tyhe base for Ming search and…
You're not being harsh! You're right! The work around the cups isn't clear unless you try to understand why they are gold. Personally, I thought a child had glued the cups back together 😂. It's much more poetic with gold!
I'm with you on Sol and the mother. I somewhat understood the mom-thing because of Joe's orphan background that…
I would have liked to have access to Joe's thoughts! We got it for the cups, but not for the watch, not for the end... it's like they forgot to include them in episode 7 😂
Ming: I don't like this "Oppa." Joe: ... Sol: I hate the millionaire. Joe: ... Ming: I hate the singer. Joe: ... Sol: I hate the Omega representative. Joe: ... Ming: I hate Sol. Joe: Oh, Ming... Sol: I hate Ming. Joe: Sol! Ming: I hate you even more. Sol: No, it's me. Ming: No, it's me. Joe: Ming... Sol... Ming... Sol Ming & Sol: We hate each other! Joe: Ah

We've been on this arc since episode 4...
1-3 : romance.
4-8 : Body.
9-10 : redemption.
11-12 : romance.

They could have commented on it, for example, Joe could have wondered what the material was. But no...
