Title My Stand-In
STFU ,who are you to judge Joe's feelings, he is the one who died, he is the one who came back in another body,…
I also felt that scene that way. No matter how many lives Joe may have, no matter the time, no matter what anyone says to him. Joe fell in love with Ming the moment he saw him. It was love at first sight, and that feeling has only grown stronger.

So yes, Ming has plenty of flaws, but here's the thing: Do the flaws that the audience criticizes bother Joe? Not at all.

Ming needs to please Joe and only Joe. And the end of the episode confirms that Joe is lowering his guard, in a way. He knows he loves him. Maybe their relationship will be a bit complicated after the body discovery because a lot of resentment will surface, but his love will prevail.

I can’t wait for Mike to be more involved, he will be the big supportive of their relationship, he’s so cool,…
I find it quite unfortunate that people spend their time criticizing the character of Ming and never the others.

Tong is the worst of the lot.
Wut is the only 100% respectable character.
Sol is a fake friend with impure thoughts.
Joe is a man who makes choices. Joe has never had any issues with Ming's behavior. The only thing that bothers him is being the replacement. Ming's jealousy? He doesn't care. Ming's character? He doesn't care.

We don't always love perfect people. Sometimes, people are drawn to those who are a bit more jealous, possessive, or cold... and that's the case with Joe.

It's sad, but I've had that kind of friend around me. Friends who wait for the slightest opening to try and take advantage. Sol clearly has ulterior motives. I'm not saying he's bad, but he's not as good as some of you might think. He wants Joe, even though Joe has said no, and he keeps trying...

I hope we get to see that scene! And it seemed to me in the episode that Ming was more afraid of the new Joe taking advantage of his brother's sadness.

To be honest, I’ve had this type of friend in my life. Yes, they are good friends, but they expect a romantic return even when you’ve told them it’s not possible. Even after your breakups, they stick around, hoping for an opening. That’s what Sol’s character is. Probably a good person but definitely not someone who gives without expecting anything in return.

Oh sweet dumb Joe. You fell right into Ming’s noodle trap.
Joe is in love; he gives hints all the time. It's like he wants Ming to figure it out. Well, mission accomplished. He should see an allergist for his sneezing 😂

Title My Stand-In
Episode 8 Review:
The episode was a bit slow, especially the scenes with Sol... honestly, everyone sees the good in Sol, but I see hidden vice. Sol wants Joe and pretends to be a good friend for that reason...

I really dislike this behavior. Ming is a jerk, but at least he's straightforward.

It makes me laugh when I see people wanting Ming to completely change his behavior. Do you want a totally different character? Just change the person entirely...

Fortunately, Ming stays the same... and I found that the writers made a very good move in this BL, something they should do systematically!

They left out any rape scenes! At no point! Ming was a jerk, but he never abused him.

And don’t tell me that in the end he abused Joe, because you’re lying to yourselves... you can clearly see that Joe was fully consenting and enjoyed the moment...

As for Ming's brother, I’m waiting to learn more about him. I imagined him to be a bit more charismatic. But I’m glad to see that he’s included!

Regarding Joe's mother... I still think she takes up unnecessarily long screen time, just like Sol. These are moments I find boring.

And yes, Sol, Joe simply doesn’t want to be with you. If it isn’t clear by now that from the beginning Joe just DOES NOT WANT to take Sol’s money... he doesn’t want to, he prefers to stay near Ming. He does it by choice!

However, I expected a bit more emotion from Ming at the end...

I can't read novels with 'V' scenes, so I'll pass. I'm glad the drama omitted the 'V' scenes, by the way. Even though, according to the preview, I see an 's' scene, which I don't like at all, and I think they should have removed all forms of abuse.

They should show us more of Joe's internal emotions. In the last episodes, I got the impression that he no longer really loved Ming. I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks that; it's the lack of thoughts that made me feel this way.
