at first i was mad that he pretended to leave and didnt tell her and its so cliche or like, not that big a deal and why do they always have to make the FL dumb..... and then i remembered this guy literally killed her dad over a company and tried to kill her in an elevator and then i was like.... ok, maybe its really for the best to not piss this guy off by hanging around shanghai, considering hes an ACTUAL PYSCHOPATH

say what you want about xu li, but xiaochuan needs someone like her who's very understanding, a bit clingy and overly enthusiastic. why? because no normal girl would put up with xiaochuan's BS XD there's a legit scene where she goes "did you know if you see the first snow together, you'll become a couple" and he deadass goes "there is no scientific data to back that up,". this is a CHINESE man who doesnt visit his family on NEW YEARS cause he thinks its STUPID like what XD (and its not like hes a 40yr old jaded man, hes a uni kid) he is obviously completely detatched from the world, its just not written as exaggerated as most "cold ceos" type dramas do it.

i do tend to only watch romantic dramas, but then my fav dramas end up not being about romance so who knows what thats about, im looking at you, 'just between lovers' lol XD and sure XD

omg lol. yeah id also probs get hated on for this but i really hated loveo2o and ashes of love. seems we have similiar tastes XD im not hating on people who like those dramass, but i just dont personally get the appeal.

yes. who wants to watch superficial relationships anyway XD the charm to their interactions is that they act real haha. are you talking about hte time travelling kdrama? ive seen that. i really really liked it. that was a great show, and i usually hate time travelling shows

agree. the dialogue in this show is written well. you can tell they are actually friends and written as if they are real people. they have inside jokes, they talk about dumb things, they talk to the dog, they talk about their issues, their work mates, their hobbies, they gossip, they support each other. i always feel the hardest thing to portray in a drama is a real relationship between two people. this show does it really well

the second lead couple, after a rough start, are actually so cute and entertaining.

At the beginning i also skipped their scenes cause i thought itd be another immature girl chases cool college guy. No.

Once they start working together, they become partners in their business and become very good friends. The girl isn't immature. She's the life of their app, the human side. without her, his app wouldnt have been succseful. She does pretty much everything for their business except for the tech stuff.

Their love story is very interesting. He is almost devoid of any human feeling and only relies on data in situations where he should use his heart. he also has no interest in anything other than computers. He doesn't believe in dating someone unless they get 100% on his test. Him and the girl have a 1% score of compatability. His character development is really intriguing, not to mention their dynamic is really interesting and honestly made me cry in the later episodes.

If you originally skipped their scenes cause of their initial impression, i highly recommend paying some attention to their story. theyre honestly so cute and sincere.

no, youre not the only one. i totally did not get that part. i kept waiting for him to realise she was his friend from before but after aa wwhile i realised he alreayd knew nad was like ???????????????? did i miss something XD

i love how the nonsense his roomates are always talking about reflects what he's thinking about XD its so funny. the writing is hilarious haha

omg. hte second lead couple in the club was so freaking cute. i love them so much. this episode also made me cry so bad. the emotional scenes are alwways done so well

hahaah XD i agree, ive noticed jdramas are so harshly rated, kdramas are pretty accurate imo, cdramas are totally inflated, ad thai dramas are crazily inflated hahaha.

i feel like with cdramas especially, ratings are really generous XD i feel like this drama is a lot better then other dramas that are rated 8.5, but i also agree with you that with my own personal rating, its pretty good

so true. i dont know what it is with the emotional sccenes, but theyre done so well, i havent seen it done like this in a while. the scenery is also A1. this drama is underrated....

why does he always tell her to close the doors? is it just to annoy her? its so cute XD . tbh, it gives me warflashbacks of when your parents come into your room and dont close the door when they leave. i can imagine he's trying to be that kind of annoying on purpose hahaa.

as a soldier, i think the moment he really fell for her (I mean its made quite obvious anyway) is when she fearlessly tries to protect him from the assasins despite not knowing any martial arts, and then not leaving him behind and carrying him back. i mean, a normal person would feel touched by her actions anyway, but i think as someone who's always been in war and values loyalty and bravery, i feel that really touched his soul. its been shown anyway that as a rather brusque military man, he is not impressed by beauty or delicacy or fine arts or whatever else women in those days generaly did to impress men.

lol, true true. this is a couple i actually hope doesnt get together very quickly. their inbetween stage is hilarious and his messed up ways of courting her and her inability to not act proper for one second is hilarious. i like how he went from treating her like a servant who he could flog to death with 0 guilt, to drawing on her face XD i like that theyre friends in a weird way. hongbin has always led such an uptight life. he's never fooled around or had any friends before, let alone a girl to spend time with. theyre both good for each other.
