I started watching this as I was fond of S1, first thing i noticed, they changed Yang Bingyun with that expressionless bland actor, constantly pursing his lips which is giving on my nerves, why in the darkest hell would they do that... 🤦♀️ Terrible choice! He is not fit to match the dignified master at all, poor acting, forgettable face. Oh, well... Then I said ok, perhaps I need to lower a bit my expectations, but further I watched, more disappointed I got. What's with the exaggerated acting? It was not like this on the first S... The comedic bits are ok-ish but a bit too forced here and there, I didn't felt like laughing. I still remember how good was ep1 on the first S. Struggling to pass over first episode. I now just hope it'll get better on the next episode or else this will be my biggest drama disappointment after Ever Night 2. 😕 For sure I was not expecting to see Chen Daoming running and screaming like a schizo 😅

Love this drama, glad I found it to spend some light time during the holidays. Love the leads and their chemistry. Up to ep. 7 lots of funny scenes, it kept me invested. My first time watching the ML, eye candy, he pairs well with FL, good chemistry. And their clothes are just awesome!
