What a great series! I binged it in one go without pause, I got hooked from start to finish. Although I hated the ending, that poor little girl lost both her grandma's and her mom in a single night. Couldn't she tell the granny that the baby was her niece? So much drama could be avoided and the little girl would have had both grandma's alive. Oh well, I bawled my eyes out, too cruel. But The series worth so much more that 7.5, this rating is an insult for such great acting.

I have no idea if you are a fan or not, honestly I don't care either. But his career was affected by leaks, not only once, and if you know how these leaks affect chinese artists' works, not only Xiao Zhan's, you wouldn't talk like that.

CGI awful? LOL the special effects for this drama were produced by the team of The Wandering Earth, a Hollywood specialized in movies crew. Please find something else to spew nonsense about. The CGI on this drama was spectacular from start to finish.

I only went to take some screenshots from the last episodes, and I caught myself entangled in the plot yet again, I couldn't help but watch all over again the last 4 episodes bawling my eyes out... This drama ruined me, ahhh!

The drama is amazingly good, the romance is slow burn as it should between master and disciple with a certain age gap and upbringing. The ending is as you want to interpret it, some found it happy, some less.

He onli lied to himself, he knows she is not her grandmother. Anyway if you want to know if SY killed him, no he didn't, he is still alive until the last episode.

This is how you can tell if someone hasn't actually watched the series they're commenting on, yet still passes judgment. The series is based on a novel, so it's natural for the clichés from childhood to be included. However, what clearly indicates that you haven't watched the series is that the characters are not the same age, they have a significant age gap between them.
The girl is only 15 years old when she enters Jiuyi Mountain. It's unrealistic to expect romantic chemistry between the leads when she is an underage child and he is a reclusive adult priest who is supposed to refrain from having relationships. It's amusing to read your excuses on hating the drama without putting in any effort to at least get some gist of it. If you have criticisms, it's better to invest more thought into your comments rather than making transparent excuses.

Shameless and pathetic. This show has fabulous CGI, exceptional OST, great actors with amazing acting skills, only a brainless hater would give 1 star to such a show. Even if you want to be harsh on the story and the female lead appearance, this show does not deserve 1 star for all the other amazing things has to display. As I said, shameless and pathetic hater.

Shi Ying, Zhu Yan, Zhi Yuan... missunderstandings and tragedy... meanwhile the two kids shows how the things should be getting done, busy on making babies... 😏
