I actually like book LCY even though he’s worse. LCY in the book is despicable but there’s a sense he treats Xiao Feng the way he does because he’s an all around bad guy to those he doesn’t love-and that’s kinda everybody. The relationship in the book feels more emotional because it really feels like LCY wanted to be Gu Xiao Wu but knew he couldn’t be. He also seemed to know he was bad but still wanted Xiao Feng. That’s more interesting than I’m a good person doing bad things and makes more sense with the later arcs of the drama.
This band definitely seems good to check out.

Yeah, I really think she’s been unlucky with the toxic fans being so loud or always striking at the lowest times. Sometimes I read their blogs but they’re so miserable, it’s embarrassing. Especially the ones that @ her or are pretending they haven’t climbed the wall for someone else but still resent her for not giving into them/giving them whatever dream girl experience they wanted. It’s just like send private messages to the studio otherwise let the girl live and find a life of your own😂 It’s really better to put them in the same category as anti-fans for how they operate. That’s what I do.

She herself said it’s not about being popular so I don’t understand their thought processes. As long as she has a good role in a good production, isn’t that enough? I saw a fan complaining about her still shooting her cameo and it really annoyed me. Hasn’t this cameo helped passerby see she’s still good for costume dramas? They really need to check their vision.

Fans love villain PXR to death tho. Who doesn’t love such a sweet face doing evil?

She really moves quietly. Not an ounce of marketing but then Thrush drops a whole bombshelll😂 It’s prime-time according to rumours. I hope it does okay. It doesn’t have to be a hit, just get grades good enough to widen her prospects.🙏
I also hope it does well so her career fans will stop ragging on her. So many of them only understand career in terms of traffic stars but not the career of a real actress. If they did, they would admire some of her moves rather than tear her down.

You should still be able to watch CCTV 8 I think. I feel like I figured it out. If I remember, I’ll post the link and instructions. The only thing is there might not be subtitles. If that happens, it may be worth petitioning Viki or the YT channels of Youku and Tencent if they’re only airing it in China.

Haha Jiman’s feralness is why I love her to death😂 when all the trailers first came out it just seemed like she was biting NYX all the time😂 I really wished the show had styled her better because Jiman is so lovable that if she had a good appearance, she would have been a hit character.
I think SJFY set some things for a limited time. I think 6 months. It wasn’t popular so there’s not much replay. They were posting tidbits of scenes that got cut but they got told to stop.
The Reuters with her on Jackie Chan’s movie where she asked for help- I dunno how anyone saw them. There was only one leak and it wasn’t by PXR.

Lol, I think you’re spot on. Haha maybe we’re both biased. It’s really that natural transition that amazes me. The end character feels so different from the beginning. People trashed RoaTF but even Jiman was so calm and grown up when she appeared again so different from the half feral Jiman in the beginning 😂
Yes, she always learns from all her roles. I wouldn’t be surprised if he showed her some techniques. She took on learning during SJFY. The guy who played her boss is a famous actor and I remember him teaching her. I also remember fans saying there was Reuters of her asking him for help with something but I don’t know what. She was also bruised up to high heaven as well.

I tried to look them up but couldn’t find them. Apparently though, they’re supposed to be good at action scenes and it seems like there is a martial arts storyline to the drama. I think if the director is decent, Xiao Ran will look decent despite the stylist. Her “ugly” looks are all Xie Ze and I swear he purposely shot her that way because she literally looks fine in any angle in any shot during the same period for RoaTF and I’ve seen some raw shots of JJL which are amazing.
