Probablyš. Thereās not much news on whatās next but I guess sheās still reading the script and it will take time to make arrangements even if she has chosen a drama. I just hope fans can stay chill while she decides and donāt start attacking her or taking their frustrations out on her posts (which ruins the atmosphere so muchšāāļø).Things have gotten better over the years but every now and then a troublemaker shows up spouting nonsense.

I hope it airs in Oct/Nov. I feel like if ToDR airs around Halloween, it will be just the right atmosphere. Only problem is that if L&C and ToDR air back to back, Xiao Ran wonāt have much stock leftš.
I don't know who these mythical censors are but they clearly go easy on crime dramas generally. it's not like…
Actually many overseas viewers are aware of censorship in Cdramas, but my comment was more out of genuine curiosity/observation rather than scapegoating. Itās really interesting to see how directors work around the censorship rules- many like the director for this show have really creative ideas. Iāve seen a few comments from viewers mentioning how it feels scary (probably due to the horror vibe) which is a bit fascinating.

Nah, theyāre definitely not mythical. Iāve seen shows get gutted by them but maybe thatās because I watch idol dramas which have a different audience baseš¤ But itās not just the crime that makes me wonder about the censorship but the level of violence and blatant drug usage. Usually that gets cut. Iām also intrigued by the grey character of Liu Shao Hua. Normally villains arenāt this grey in Cdramas.
Lol, I really like it this show. Itās really got an interesting flavour-especially how the drug trade scenes often have a horror vibe. Feel like this is how it got past the censors- it makes getting involved in drugs look so scaryš
Really enjoying it so far. Thereās very few dull moments although Iām not sure why people think itās hard to follow. The main character is essentially the narcotics trade- itās the golden thread connecting both sides
When I first watched the drama there was post credit ending scene of the 2 leads in a field of red flowers after…
A fan of the show uploaded a clip to YouTube but I think that version only existed on Viki. I remember having to buy a membership to watch it. To this day I donāt understand why showrunners decided on such an awkward ending after dozens of episodes showing JJL and ZZ as a couple.
i don't know the other couples but it's quite obvious that Gong Jun definitely ends up with Peng Xiao Ran
Not romantically. There were one-sided feelings in the book but itās a platonic relationship in the end. The drama might not even have this and they are both paired with others.
