Luo Yunxi and Liu Yu Ning were each criticized early in their careers for not being attractive enough. I’m sure…
He looks fine. And he visually works as a serious and righteous leader. There’s a quiet gravitas about him.
This director doesn’t seem very good at capturing people’s best looks. It’s really straightforward filming with little atmosphere for most characters. And, there’s a lot of mediocre and lifeless shots of the characters which affects perception. An actor can act well and be really handsome but if the director can’t capture the performance, the effect will be greatly reduced.
Just ignore the ppl who say this. They're just romance junkies. I don't understand why they watch these types…
Yeah, sentimentality and saccharin don’t work for the tone of this show. It’s really got to be in the background or in a few stolen moments. There’s just too much going on for it.
😂 Some fans have been trying to figure out what Jialan’s character setting is and apparently the character AI set up for her is just saying all types of things so it’s even more confusing 😂
I don’t get all the demand for “pure love” for the main couple in a drama this grim. There’s different kinds of love. And different reasons for being in a relationship. Just because the relationship doesn’t follow the standard romantic pattern doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. Tbh, in this type of storyline, I feel like the most plausible type of type of romantic development would stem from mutual admiration/understanding, comfort and familiarity. It would be the quiet kind, one that develops in the background as they face more and more hardships together and learn more about each other. .
Xiao Ran’s time on Sisters Who Make Waves 6 has ended. Although the airing experience wasn’t ideal, I think it was still a good opportunity for Xiao Ran to try new looks, meet new people, and gain new skills. Her final blog for the show is posted below: https://m.weibo.cn/detail/5162251275993384
I'm watching this drama and I'm on episode 8. I still haven't seen PXR yet, but I saw edits of her on TT. Her…
Her sense of faith is so strong that she really feels like she’s casting magic and interacting with the surrounding environment. She integrates perfectly with the special effects, which has been a weakness with some WYX’s shows.
I still think the Jialan in Jiu Huo’s memories is not the real Jia Lan. The kid versions of her don’t seem very affectionate and give the impression she’s a psychopath. The Huaizhu version of her seems to support this as well - she’s charming and manipulative but doesn’t seem too attached. I feel like Jiu Huo is banking on the memory loss and Huaizhu not knowing their backstory to create a false narrative. I don’t know if it’s because of genuine love or ulterior motives but it doesn’t feel right.
There's no itinerary for this month? 🤔 I hope she can join a new group soon. 🙏
Yeah there is. She’s got a fashion event at the end of the month. She’s currently traveling in (Tanzania I think). More than likely she took the time off to account for SWMW.
