Hou Ming Hao and Peng Xiao Ran have guest appearances in Love in Pavilion which starts tomorrow. They’re both demons too.

Don’t let a few negative voices or moments get you down. If there’s something or someone you look forward to in the drama, let them be the focus. This poster is not so great but some of the earlier posters have been quite nice. I don’t know why they weren’t uploaded instead. The video clips have also been okay.

Tbh, I don’t know what to expect from this show but there’s a lot of stars in it who would greatly benefit if the show had good stats when it opens. If anyone knows any other ways to do data, please feel free to post.

1. I’m not sure if IQIYI follows the same formula but some platforms use new users as an indicator for popularity. If you don’t have an IQIYI membership yet and are planning to get one, it might be better to sign up through the show.

2. Don’t fast forward. This apparently messes up the view count of the show. Some platforms also don’t allow muting.

3. Stream from multiple devices if you’re up for it.

4. Leave likes and/or comments on the official social media platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Twitter. Retweets and reposts are also encouraged. If I’m not mistaken, IQIYI tracks overseas popularity as well.

Nah, this is pretty unique even with an S++ rating. It used to happen in older dramas but it’s really rare now. A lot of this casting was made possible because most of the supporting cast were rising stars and have become more popular since the show was shot. I think it would be harder to assemble them now.
I hope it airs well. Its stats are already low-key crazy. It’s not completely rare for supporting cast members to pull in 100,000+ views on their solo promotional TikTok videos before a show airs but it is harder. With this show, multiple members of this cast already have.

On the 28th Love in the Pavilion will air. Jialan looks really beautiful.

I think if they do the editing carefully, it’ll have a better effect. Once everything is filmed it’s really up to editing.

The filter seems too bright in the butterfly scene (it even faded her forehead marking) but the fight scene filter looks so amazing.

I think it’s the overall story. I’ve heard it’s melodramatic.

I think this show’s saving grace might be the acting. There’s quite a few strong artists in this show and while the plot is often important, good acting and chemistry/synergy can also support a show when plot is lacking. And actually the plot will be dependent not only the original script and director but on the skill and expertise of the editor.

I don’t care what state this show is in, I’ve been waiting for Peng Xiao Ran to play a villain for so long and now my baby Jialan has arrived!!! So cute even though she’s probably bad(But I love bad girls the most so this is just paradise for me right now🥹).

This. Honestly CGI looks dated after a few years but a good plot and characters can last forever.

Anyway, positive vibes.🤞I’m looking forward to Feng Miaojun and her adventures. There are enough faces I like . The actors can act. The filming looks okay. And, I heard good things about the plot.

Huamei was a spy catching drama that aired in 2023. Xiao Ran plays a police officer. Its marketing was non-existent. The trailer came out like a week before the show broadcast. BUT, it did well considering. In fact it’s basically never stopped airing and has circulated through many different tv channels.

Just that the plot is pretty wild- like short drama level wild. I don’t know if it’s true but if it is, I’m here for it.
