Iām not so into that arc (I like the 1st arc the most) so I donāt remember but itās somewhere after episode 15. Though if you skip most of the latter half of the first arc, youāll miss a major plot point.
I feel like I'm missing something, most rave on and on about how good this series is. I made it only 2.5 episodes…
Not every show works for everyone. If you dislike Xiao Feng this much already, you may not like the show at all. However, most who donāt like Xiao Feng sometimes like the palace arc when the focus is more on Li Chengyin and his machinations.
In the link I sent below, CCTV has made a post about The Boundless Bright Moon drama. Could it be that this drama…
Itās possible but not very likely for CCTV. CCTV showcases dramas all the time whether they air on their channel or not. Itās more likely theyāre being featured because ZYC has had shows air on their channel and appears in their programs and PXRās show on their channel had some of the highest ratings for the year it aired.
At first, I was not satisfied with the costumes at all. Now I can't get enough of looking at them šš. The…
It seems there were costume looks that havenāt been seen because they were interior. I love the shot of PXR with the bubbles and I thought the shot of Yun Yaās swordsmanship was a really cool. The bathtub dress also looks really pretty.
I love the overall positivity from the cast and crew so I really hope this show does well. So many posts are talking positively/praising other members and itās so nice to see. Itās seems like it was a cast that really liked each other and got on super well despite the hard filming schedule.
Even we have to wait an extra half day, Iām satisfied with the wrap up video. The cast looks amazing, many epic…
I heard it was to do with releasing it at an auspicious time. Wish this show all the best. Itās a wrap up special but it can be seen that the filming quality looks really good.
Whenever I see filming leaks like the one below I really want to watch this show so much. PXR and ZYC have such a strong sense of atmosphere and beauty: https://m.bilibili.com/video/BV1PLqWYrEwv
That was her first time dancing to the song. Once she got some more practice, she gets betterš:https://m.bilibili.com/video/BV1TEDYYqEAL
When she was shooting for The Legend, she spent several weeks studying dance for one of its scenes and I guess she brought that skill to FoF. Even though sheās off beat in the first link, her movements , especially the swaying of the sleeves, are quite fluid. Plus, GJM made her practice the FoF dance too while she was filming FoF. There were apparently lessons š
If it sticks to the original storyline, technically no one.
Nah, not really. I heard thereās some hints of jealousy in the novel but thereās no full blown love triangle with SCH involved. For the drama, Iām not sure SCH has any romantic plot line at all.
Thatās because GBMP was trying to attract FBB, the star of this show so the costuming had to be on point. In…
I did check them out but wasnāt interested in the end. I donāt really like Guo Jing Mingās directing so I donāt watch his works unless thereās a special reason.

Cinematography is important but to me being able to shoot people well is part of it. I actually think itās the most important because stories are told through characters. If a director canāt highlight characters well, the story suffers especially if it is character driven.
Xie Ze doesnāt seem good for these types of stories or heavily emotional stories for that reason. He can shoot interior scenes well, as long as the focus isnāt on people. He also has a sense of composition in the long shots. Also, if he is obsessed with candle lighting, he really needs a good lighting engineer. In actuality, his key strength is story rhythm. When I watch his stuff, I always think heād be better as an editor than director although I think his storytelling method is too simple.
I havenāt watched any of the listed dramas due to lack of interest but I have seen clips. Out of the dramas I have watched, I tend to like the cinematography of older dramas. The technology seems better now but the actual technical ability seems more hit and miss in dramas. It could just be me though. When I started watching Chinese media, it was mostly films so my standards might be different because films have higher requirements.
