Some people do ship their pairing but they’re not lovers. SMY is MYM’s boss. They kinda grew up together though so have a close bond - like a lifelong friendship though I think the relationship isn’t as strong as SMY and SCH .

Each of them love someone else so they’re not together but I think they will make for nice visuals when they do share scenes. 🔥

The FL (although she is not the official match) is Peng Xiao Ran. Her most famous character is Xiao Feng from Goodbye My Princess but she’s also the FL of Jun Jiu Ling and Romance of a Twin Flower.

According to the book, at the beginning, they should be in a one sided love hate relationship because they come to like each other before marriage but then something happens between them to sour the relationship and the FL both loves and hates the ML for a bit. I don’t think the ML ever stops loving her though he was suspicious of her first. In the drama, it seems he then forces her to marry him (in the book she agrees) and they have a volatile relationship for the first few years until they learn to better understand each other. I guess this could be called love after marriage but that trope usually means they completely don’t like each other at the start of the marriage but these two do.
I’ve also heard their drama relationship referred to as love but can’t love. As in they love each other but a lot things get in the way, making it difficult for them to have a relationship.

It’s not love after marriage though I think it does have an element of learning how to be together. I’m not sure what vibe will be cut in the end but I’ve heard it described as forced love that’s actually true love under the surface.
I’ve read some bits of the script though and if the relationship keeps the sort of push-pull, wanting to be together but pretending not to flavour it feels interesting.

I already have 3 female geese but it looks like I have to add a 4th with Miaojun. This description I read of her from a fan sounds just what I like from a heroine-growth:

It was said to be a lot of things from casts to directors to platform but now it’s IQIYI. It’s best to always assume drama info is just a rumour until the official announcement because a lot of things can change.
