He might have a crush on MYM. They were my favourite characters and pairing in the anime. I thought they had an interesting dynamic. He seemed to be silently protecting her a few times.

MYM is all those things but primarily in dark colors. I feel like YXY probably won’t stray from this though I hope to be proved wrong . The model I wished they had used is really gorgeous but the design is grounded. But is her when she’s older.

It’s YXY tho😅 Given MYM’s look is purple for the anime, I don’t think she will change much🙂‍↕️Sadly, it’s good enough it’s not a carbon copy of YXY’s other shows.

Meh, I wouldn’t hold out too much hope. Apparently she’s already appeared in 2 different outfits but it’s hard to spot the difference.

I think it depends on the video. I saw 2. Her eyes are massive though. Big like the Xiao Feng/Ba Qifu era. She looked like a doll. Really praying Yi Xiao Ya comes through.

I can understand the hope. More scenes would be great but it’s a delicate balance. There’s a lot going on that doesn’t make it to MDL and there’s already anger that she might add more scenes and/or break up the main pairing.

She’s not considered a support actress. She just finished shooting a drama as a female lead. Most of her recent non-lead roles are guest roles which protect her rank. If anything maybe she’s not considered popular.

I’m not really sure why you’re attacking me. Only she knows why she took on the role but her reasons usually make sense. And if the showrunners said yes to her ranking , then there must be a reason as well. This type of thing is rare in idol dramas but not in other types of dramas.

And I have watched the anime up to episode 20+ as well seen all her dramas. I feel like I can understand why she might find MYM interesting. She’s already played characters like BBH(who probably has the most scenes) but not a character like MYM. Good actors are constantly challenging themselves so maybe she chose the more challenging one. Also I’m guessing you’ve not watched much of this actress, but she doesn’t need a lot of screen time to make an impression. So it’s okay if she doesn’t get a bunch of scenes. It’s more faithful to the book and anime and will keep the purists from scolding her.

Most of them are rumors. She has 2 FL dramas left and 3 guest roles. In a week, she should be joining the crew for another FL drama.

She’s the lead female due to industry rank, not by screen time or pairing. Tbh, I think she accepted the role because it’s interesting not because of the amount of scenes.
