Xiao Ran’s MDL list is inaccurate and quite a few are just rumored dramas. As of this year, she only has 4 leading role dramas to be aired and three were shot this year. And there’s one guest appearance in Fangs of Fortune.

Not sure. It doesn’t feel like proper enemies to lovers from what I’ve seen of commentary but more like learning to work together because they’ve been bound by a life threatening curse. The ML seems quite black bellied but has a tragic past and the FL in order to live more freely uses her wits to become more powerful and eventually becomes a Queen I think.

That was the poster announcement but there is also a wider production team announcement that does include more people.

You can submit the information but it’s okay as a lot of roles seem to be leading.

Will probably have to go in and manually change the roles. I had to do that for another drama.

The crazy thing is a lot of the shots are raw, so untouched. Tbh, I can’t keep up with all content coming out of Weibo but basically each shot is really perfect. Some are really ethereal🥹

It has some fantasy elements but apparently it’s not a full on fairy tale. I’m so excited for this. If it’s shot well and the makeup stays this level, it’s gonna be a visual feast🥹I’ve posted some links to the booting ceremonies leaks coming out.

It’s still filming.

Depends on a variety of factors. I just hope it’s given enough time in post-production to be a well polished work.

Because it’s set in different periods of time.

It only finished filming a little over 3 months ago so not for a little while yet.

I don’t know how much the drama will change but while there is volatility, forced marriage, and a cruel to be kind element to Phoenix Stage, the relationship hopefully shouldn’t be as toxic or abusive as GBMP if it follows the book, mostly because Xiao Huan isn’t an abuser even if his actions upset LCC. And LCC isn’t as gentle, sweet, or politically indifferent as Xiao Feng, she’s much better at fighting for what she wants within the court/life/from Xiao Huan as she grows more mature. I think they will be a very messy couple but one that ultimately loves each other. I also don’t know what the drama ending will be but hopefully it’ll make sense and serve the plot which is the most important thing.

Seems like it’s another MV today, which is nice. Moving materials > posters imho.
