Not sure which ep you are at, but it is becoming clear who is the wolf in sheep's clothing, that very intelligent mastermind who is manipulating some events behind the scenes and doing it in such a manner that it can't be traced back to him. We are just waiting for him to become too frustrated and aggressive in his schemes, eventually exposing himself. There is an evil mastermind in this drama whose plotting and scheming have not been shown in drama yet.... expecting some long flashbacks when he is finally exposed.

Hi!! I'm just watching this now. But I remember Guo Jing took a while b4 he realized he was in love with Huang Rong (in the 90s adaptation). Here the romance is too fast...

Yes, I read that too. The saddest person would be Xu Kai. I dunno which is worse:- a drama that might never be aired, or a drama that finally aired but your scenes got cut so much....

Um, Fuyin part is quite interesting. If we think about it, Fuyin was never really in love with Du Ning. She liked him a lot and admired his scholarly knowledge, if they had gotten married, it would have developed into true love. Unfortunately she got to know who killed her mother and decided revenge is more important than Du Ning. She didn't even write him a letter to tell him not to worry about her and not to wait for her..... The way she took care of Lu Qi when he was in coma showed she was really in love with him.

I think they really fell in love with each other when they talked about their mothers. It showed Fuyin that Lu Qi was quite pitiful too, and lost his mother when they were very young.

ah.... the title indicates the drama focus on FL. But still ya, Xu Kai has too little screen time. I read an interview where he said he spent 2 days and 1 night to shoot the military fight scenes in the drama, that he did sword fighting throughout. But where did all this scenes went?

That's why they killed Mimi.... But could have put in more effort. Chang Ge was shot/stabbed in same area few times and survived, maybe Mimi was not a martial arts expert but at least it could have been a poisoned arrow or 2 arrows... Just one arrow and died felt too deliberate (as if she died on behalf of the leads).

I agree with your comment. Just to clarify, I'm not excusing what Ying Ying did, just rationalising on why she did that. There were 2 shocks that night-- why she did it, and how could she be so selfish? I was writing on the 1st part.... For the 2nd part.... Well, she and Zifang are really 'perfect' for each other. When Furou woke and asked Zifang who had changed her clothes, Zifang replied it was Haimei. But in a later scene, the way Haimei talked about Furou being missing, showed she was unaware that Furou was held captive by Zifang. So .... who changed Furou's clothes while she was in coma? Zifang. Both Ying Ying and Zifang are kind and righteous people but they can be self-centred and selfish too, and some times have quite twisted perceptions on what is right... I feel like this drama can be a Literature project, there are so many layers to each character ^^"

Lu Ying Ying's actions in ep 28 is actually 'logical'. She had to listen to the elders in her family all her life (her father and brother), she can't ever make any decisions for herself. So she wanted to honour her feelings for Yan Zifang, even though he did not love her... And maybe she was hoping that might Inspire Zifang to elope with her.

Hmmm I agree the story and character developments isn't much, but I like that the script try to show us more than one-side to each character, that they are not just one dimensional faces. I'm watching The Long Ballad too, and the characterizations are more flat and one dimensional than in Court Lady.... I particularly like the characterizations on Crown Prince, Lu Ying Ying and Fu Ying. After the events in ep 30, it looks like ML Chumu will be getting more mature, looking forward to that.

I saw Tan Jianci in Secret of Three Kingdoms :) He also played a negative role in that.
The costumes in Twisted Fate of Love are gorgeous! But I didn't find the story interesting...
