EP 9 REACTIONS (pls don’t read if you haven’t watched it yet)
Don’t they remove eyeglasses when they put someone on the operating table?? Isn’t that SOP? Did they have to wait for the head surgeon to do that??
And they’re operating on someone without any reason?? DOGI was just feigning to be injured, right? Didn’t that show in their pre-surgery tests?? EDIT: Ok, this was answered in EP 10. There was a mixup. Still, that was very negligent of the hospital staff!
As of Season 2, EP 8… all major characters (JANG, DOGI, GO-EUN, KYUNG-GOO, JIN-YEON) are unmarried, single or don’t have any romantic involvement. We also don’t know if they have friends or close relatives they have regular contact with. Are these “realistic” characters? Just thinking out loud.
QUESTION: When they’re all out on a mission, who takes care of the taxi business? Isn’t that a 24-hour company? Also, isn’t GO-EUN the dispatcher? How are things running smoothly when all of them are out on a mission?
EPISODE 8 REACTIONS/QUESTIONS (Pls don’t read if you haven’t watched it yet):
We have our FIFTH one-against-two-or-more fight scene for Season 2, this time, courtesy of GO-EUN who took down TWO big goons! Haha! Remember, Season 1 had TWELVE such fights – all by DOGI.
QUESTION: How were they able to rig the room (a “ghost” appeared in the mirror) where DOGI was brought in to talk to the “FATHER”? And how did they know that he will be brought to THAT particular room??
QUESTION: Did they construct that temple where “shaman” DOGI “lives”? If so, are they allowed to do that without permit? If it is a REAL temple, why were they allowed to rig it or disgrace it with their tricks?? Did they get permission from real monk who lives there? Isn’t what they’re doing trespassing and sacrilegious?? This is a common problem with how they’ve handles past cases.
Wowww!! They really placed “get help” stickers on the underside of a police car?? Haha!!! Really, writers?? Sorry, couldn’t keep my eyes from rolling. 🙄 🤣
REACTION WHILE WATCHING EP 4 (Don’t read if you haven’t watched it yet)
Wondering how the group can easily pretend to be locals – complete with houses and vehicles. Don’t they have local leaders or police authorities there who check on strangers living among them? Just thinking out loud.
Also, when the entire group goes on an out-of-town case like this one, don’t they leave any trusted personnel in the Rainbow Taxi garage/offices? And do they just leave the keys to be used by anyone (like the newbie cabbie)?
The scene where MR. JANG caught newbie cabbie discovering their secret passage – just in the nick of time – was followed by the scene where MR. JANG is in the small town pretending to be an old, rich senile man. Is that town very near their place of work??
TO THOSE WHO ARE ASKING ABOUT THE CHRONOLOGY OF EVENTS (BETWEEN SEASON 1 AND SEASON 2), here is how it went, as per EP 1 of SEASON 2:
2 YEARS AGO: Mr. Jang surrendered himself and told authorities he acted alone. Later, all charges were dropped.
1 YEAR AGO: Mr. Jang started the Rainbow Taxi “help service” again by putting stickers on strategic locations. We see DOGI join him again and the Vietnam case is the first case they handled together. The other 3 are not yet back in the team but are close to doing that.
PRESENT: All members are back in the team (that is the very first scene with the porn guys in the bus).
So what we’ve watching now (VIETNAM case) happened ONE YEAR AGO. It tells us how the members got back together again.
REACTIONS WHILE WATCHING EP 2 (don't read if you haven't watched it yet)
MR. CHOI & MR. PARK go to Vietnam to help DOGI. Their antics are obviously for a few laughs, but they end up like caricatures – complete with touristy costumes, much like DOGI in that voice phishing case from Season 1.
Even DOGI’s sheepish grin is a reprise from the U DATA case, when he was pretending to be “innocent.”
And the three miraculously meet “accidentally” in Vietnam. Wow!! Haha! How convenient, writers!! Lazy much??
The prisoners were transferred after MADAM LIM and her men barged in the goons’ lair. And suddenly, the goons have white vans!! Where did those come from?? Haha! Really getting preposterous, aren’t we?
And here’s more: The “chairman” of that illegal business in Vietnam is none other than the cop in Seoul who handled LEE DONG JAE’s case (yup, the missing son). We’re not running out of coincidences here, are we? Haha!
Okay, here’s that ONE-AGAINST-MANY fight scene again. This is the first for Season 2. Would you believe Season 1 had TWELVE such fights?? Yes, I counted them all. 12 ONE-AGAINST-MANY fight scenes in 16 episodes. That should be a world record! Haha!
No, wait!!! There are TWO such fights here!! One inside, another one on the way out. That should count as TWO! So, so far, we have an average of one ONE-AGAINST-MANY fight scene per episode. Would Season 2 beat Season 1’s record?? Haha!
FAT GUY was inside when DOGI singlehandedly brought down ALL the men. When we cut to the chairman OUTSIDE (someone reported to him about the “trouble” inside), fat guy is there, too! How did that happen?? Haha!
GO-EUN to DOGI (on a motorbike going after the corrupt “chairman”): “He’s heading to the amusement park at the end of the river.” And DOGI knew where that is?? Without a GPS?? Really, writers??
And GO-EUN in KOREA was able to close that gate in VIETNAM?? James Bond, move over!! =)
Son was returned to dad, and…. What, no THANK YOU to Dogi, guys??? Not even a NOD or a WAVE goodbye??
So many look-to-the-sky moments in this episode, writers! Haha!
please mark down as a spoiler comment, maybe someone not watched yet...
But for your peace of mind, I'll do just that -- even though there really is NO SPOILER in this comment (no plot points or twists were revealed). Peace! =)

I always put a header on which EPISODE I'm commenting on. So, it's common sense that if you haven't watched the episode/s I'm commenting on, you shouldn't read it, right?
Why is a hardened criminal like OH CHEOL-YEONG never in handcuffs when facing visitors or when leaving his cell?? Is that common in South Korean prisons? Really curious. He faced HANA, DOGI, MR. JANG – all without handcuffs. And while he was being transferred, he was also without handcuffs that’s why he was able to manhandle the guard.
The crack in the BAEK-JANG relationship has started to show. This was actually foreshadowed in Ep 1 by DOGI telling JANG he’s not comfortable in their deal with MADAM BAEK.
That death at the end of this episode was totally shocking. Didn’t see that coming at all.
We have the FOURTH incredible one-against-many fight scene towards the end of this episode. And take note that this happened right after he was brutally hit with a baseball bat SEVERAL TIMES – including the head. And in that scene, he fought a group of men not just once! First it was inside -- right after he released himself from being tied up; second was on the way out -- where he was met by another group of gangsters; and third, outside the building. That makes it SEVEN one-against-many fight scenes now! Couldn’t keep my eyes from rolling. Haha!
And what kind of morons would use thin rope to tie up an enemy?? Haha!!!
ALSO… why didn’t they inform HA NA and the law enforcers about the bomb? They could’ve gotten them killed!!
EDIT: Take note that in the entire series (Season 1 alone), Doki had TWELVE one-against-many fight scenes -- and 3 of those are in Ep 14 alone!
Don’t they vet or check on the accuracy of applicants’ resumes? First, the school, now a major tech company. Is that even possible to get in THAT easily??
So many stories/goings on/characters in this episode. Can get confusing sometimes.
Gawd, not another one-against-so-many-and-leaving-unscathed fight scene!
Whatever happened to Ep 3’s cliffhanger where the Rainbow Taxi CEO visited a woman in a hospital? Why wasn’t there a continuation of this sub-story? Did the writer or director forget about it? Why was it even shown at the end of Ep 3 – from out of the blue?? Hmmm….
That Ep 3 epilogue confused me. Who is this woman in the hospital?? Ho-Jung’s mother? Who is Ho-Jung?? Why are they giving us a cliffhanger without a backgrounder first?
(pls don’t read if you haven’t watched it yet)

Woooow!!! This episode gave us one-man-DOGI-against-many fight scenes #10, #11 and #12!! Should be call the Guinness Book of World Record now? Haha 😂🤣
Wait… DOGI prepared to smoke out the Bahamian embassy but DID NOT bring any mask or any breathing apparatus??
Then … he gave GOO YEAONG-TAE a wrench to use as a weapon against him?? Who wrote this scene??
The prisoners escaped. This is getting messier and messier.
Wow!! Dogi’s ONE-AGAINST-MANY fight scene #9. Wow!!! This has got to set a world record!! Haha!
The crack in the BAEK-JANG relationship has started to show. This was actually foreshadowed in Ep 1 by DOGI telling JANG he’s not comfortable in their deal with MADAM BAEK.
