Kun and Kiak (Phu and Nan's actors) made appearance in the EP 5 reaction video by IPond TV, which is quite a popular Thai BL series reaction video channel (and one of my favourite channel too). They have been doing reaction videos since EP 1 too.
This will help The Promise's popularity among Thai viewers!
EP 5 premiere in YouTube was just over. So here's the summary:
EP 6 will be released in WeTV VIP on 19 April 2023 at 8 pm BKK time (UTC + 7h) EP 7 will be released in WeTV VIP on 26 April 2023 at 8 pm BKK time (UTC + 7h)
EP 6 will be released in WeTV on 26 April 2023 at 8 pm BKK time (UTC + 7h) EP 6 will be released in YouTube on 26 April 2023 at 11 pm BKK time (UTC + 7h)
EP 3 peaked at about ~2,100 live viewers in YouTube, while EP 4 has over 2,500 live viewers. Hope each episodes will have more live viewers going forward!
Can't wait to see how the YouTube live viewers react to EP 5 next week (and all the reaction videos too)
Ep 05: FINALLY!!!And then?Seriously? This series is finally delivering but nope. Gotta wait until the 19th of…
Just be patient, I am pretty sure if they keep up EP 5's quality and storytelling, Part 2 will be awesome. Just have to be patient... (I'm not, but I am willing to wait)
I know it will probably hurt a lot to watch, but whenever EP 6 comes, whether next Wednesday or a few weeks from now, I will rewatch that heartbreaking scene at the end of EP 5 many times before that.
what does it mean at the end of ep5, it said part 2 on 19 april...mean ep6 on that day start?
Perhaps, there is such a possibility. But if that is the case, then that means EP 5 is really a tremendous cliffhanger.
I am not surprised that is the reason why they chose to 'cut' the Part 1 exactly at that scene. (4 weeks wait is enough to make us think of the possible paths the story may take, and EP 5 to me opens up a lot of questions of what may happen)
Have you watched ep 5? Nan showed jealousy and grumpiness when he saw Phu and Dina together, that talked a lot…
Kims, I have a few points regarding Dina's actions:
1. Dina may genuinely like Phu, which is therefore different from the prequel.
2. (I prefer this one) Dina, knowing just how reluctant Phu is (from their 'date') in confessing his feelings for Nan, may have purposely done that to help both Nan and Phu to be more courageous in telling each other.
Regardless which one, I think this series may surprise us a lot in the way how a lot of surprises have been thrown us up to EP 5.
And, I think, as I mentioned earlier from my analysis of the Nanfah prequel, I think Nan already knew well that he loved Phu, and his action in walking away from Dina and Phu's bedroom scene, confirms just that (to me). It was blatantly obvious that what is missing is just that moment when they can say 'I love you' to each other.
(Which unfortunately yes, that revelation made things more complicated, and I expect another episode or two before they patch things up, and finally get things going for their relationship. Fingers crossed!)

But that, was really intense still, and not just that, but the whole of Nan and Phu's interactions in the whole EP 5.

Please prepare tissue paper beforehand, especially before the end (no spoilers here)
(And, I really like the way they cut and insert the scenes from the past in between important scenes, it really packed a lot more punch that way)
