So, I think, this is a lakorn that you might like if you:- are pretty new to lakorns- do not have expectations…
- So you take a regnancy test, but you do not wait to get the results.....you do it to find out, if you are pregnant but then you throw it away without looking. You then ASSUME, that you are pregnant, because you are asked, if you are pregnant....ähm yes, that is like....well, I do not even know what to say to this..... - Your boyfriend repeatedly cheats on you, but you forgive him....because you will give him three chances - yes, exactly three chances.....Sanrak really has no more than three brain cells, maybe that is why she decided to give her cheating scumbag three chances....who knows? - there is no communication between any of the "couples". Everybody just assumes something which causes a lot of blahblah drama....I had so many eyeroll moments.... - There is no romance in this one. The couples get together in the last minute of the last episode. Literally the last minute of the very last episode.
So, I think, this is a lakorn that you might like if you: - are pretty new to lakorns - do not have expectations that are too high - like the actors - like high school / university dramas and maybe even are at that age..... I watched it with my 16 years old niece. She liked it and could relate to the (for me) ridiculous amount of drama and NON communication. The BL couple did not have any screen time as a couple. They were only in the friends role here. I will spoiler a few bits for you below.....
This was my review on this Thati version: So, this remake is the worst of all and here is why: The ML character is cruel, like really cruel (the acting was great!) The FL character is really dumb, annoying and over the top. VWS was casted perfectly for that role, since she can not act without overacting - or it was the other way around and she displayed the FL character in that way, because she can not act any other way....? A bit less screeching, a bit less overacting, a bit more depth and real, honest and normal conversations and this could have been good. If you like the story watch the taiwanese original or the chinese remake waking love up. Both are so much better: better acting, better script (the story is the same, but it does not drag that much and the FLds are actually more mature than this one that only knows how to stomp her feet, throw temper tantrums and scream) and both have a nicer happy ending.
Well, I do not like weak characters and this ML is a spineless worm, that does everything that he is told to do (by each and every woman around him). I had the feeling, that the ML would have let himself been "taken" by each and every woman, that wanted him, had the FL not been there to interrupt.....this was kind of a total turn off for me. The ML was one of the weakest in lakorn history.... Him not being able to say no, is what caused a LOT of trouble this whole lakorn. Really great trouble. The lakorn ends with him doing the EXACT same thing AGAIN....and AGAIN it is the FL that has to drag another woman off the ML.....at this point I would have divorced and would not have wanted for history to repeat itself....but well, I guess the FL is not really bright either, so they fit and she will go on fighting off the women, that her husband can´t say no to.....good luck. Not my cup of romance. 3/10 for me and only for the acting.
The actors did a great job here. Unfortunately, they had to play shitty roles. The FL was too mean for too long,…
I absolutely agree! To compare this with Irresistible (2021) is a bit hard, but I will try. Roy Ruk Raeng Kaen (2015): The emotions and the delivery of the emotions in this one felt real and raw. Every single character was really flawed, no saints but lots of evil. The acting was great! There was just one 2D character, the others were written very well. Beware: lots and lots and lots of abuse, mental and physical from the ML towards the FL - and if I say abuse, I really mean abuse! He literally beats her up, so.....Plus, the ML sleeps with a lot of women to hurt the FL. I am one of the few, that wished for an "unhappy" ending, I wished for the leads to stay as far away from each other as possible.....I got something of an open end. Irresistible (2021): The characters here felt flat and very 2Dish. The ML here is a fluffy, puppy loving, white washed version of the one in RRRK. If you think, this one is mean, do not even attempt to watch RRRK. He was somehow still nice to the FL, he did not sleep around....The acting was okish.....the raw emotions, that are needed to be displayed, to make this lakorn believable were missing for me. The FL was the 2D saint, the ML was 2D revenge driven, the SFL the standard 2D psycho SFL, the storyline followed the standard script: revenge and then big bang the obligatory forgivenesssssss (big, big eyeroll) followed by the very happy end.....the happy end here actually felt ok, as the ML was very soft in his revenge (compared to other revenge lakorns!).

This was just not my cup of tea. The FL was much too weak for my liking and did not act like a 35 year old woman. Very sad, because I like the actors and wanted to like this, too.
I am dropping it. 27 years old and crying when she got lost??? Love to hate you is far better than this one.
I dropped it, too. She was not only crying, but sat down in the middle of the street calling out for her mommy....that was much too much for me! I agree, Love to hate you was really far better than this one!
