I swear after this drama, I'm gonna stop watching melodramas first. From watching Mother, to My Mister, and to this? My heart cant take it. The feels are still there and I'm already ugly crying onto the next. I'm putting this sadness to a pause cause I really think 2018 is the year for melodramas, so I'll pace myself in watching them.
If the show continues this quality, this would be the best rom-com I have watched. My current list is topped by I am not a robot and WFKBJ, but this drama is taking it by storm.
For those who haven't watched, it's a light, and easy to pick up series; nothing exceptional about the plot but you will fall in love with the characters. Oh and trust me, you will laugh out loud in this series. The supporting cast is also super good
Similar to what they said; super slow paced, highly-exaggerated events, and one-dimensional characters with black or white thinking. Melodramas are typically shows where you can predict the ending 5 episodes before it ends because the plot gets dragged a lot.
Good examples are Tomorrow With You, Innocent Man, My Mister, whileeeee Bad examples are Uncontrollably fond, Doctors, and Something in the Rain
I thought this wasn't a melodrama because it started out really fast and hot (by hot, i mean full of details) but the last 2-3 episodes have been really melodramatic slow. The plot is slowly looking stretched af.
Really on the verge of dropping this. Would rather complete Why Secretary Kim, Are you human too, and Come and Hug me. Would just binge watch it after it ends.
It's super predictable but I still giggle like crazy, like i giggle harder than my girlfriend which is a bad thing to be honest. The plot is super simple, but the delivery is so natural and happy to see.
Also, I've only watched Park Min Young in healer and her character there wasn't really given a makeover but in this drama...... Wow. Just Wow. No words.
Can anyone vouch for this show? Is it really that good? I don't expect it to be a life-changing drama, I'm kinda expecting it to be a light, feel-good, funny drama with romance. Or am i totally getting it wrong hahahaha
They should extend the series by at least 4-6 more episodes. If they ended it now, this all would feel too rushed. Such a shame cause it started out really strong
Just when I thought My Mister is the most unique and captivating melodrama I've watched, then this show pops up out of nowhere with 2 new leads that are so 'fire'. I thought I was just watching another romance melodrama with a bit of everyday 'tragedy' but nooooooooo this shit is way too dark, and in a weird kind of way I'm buying it. It's not soothing, but it's so clean that it makes me want to come back again and again.
I don't even know how they could mess up a simple melodrama.
All I felt in this drama was anguish and frustration because all they showed us were some lovey-dovey moments while walking, fighting, making up (with some hints of office harassment). Repeat this sequence 3x. Then, after the family finds out, they made it seem like it was the worst thing in the world to date someone younger (and by the way, their age difference is just 3 fucking years. My girlfriend is 3 years older than me too and no one gives a shit cause it's not really a noticeable difference in age).
This is one of the dramas that just fails to hit me. It doesn't have bad pacing (like black), it doesnt have a messy story (like hwayugi), it doesn't have a useless plot-driver (Strong woman) and it's not catastrophically bad in general (Bride of Haebak) but i dont know.... I can't pinpoint it.... but something is just off with it
Just started watching and god damn, straight to the feels again. I'm just coming off from watching My Mister and I honestly didn't expect this drama to hit it hard on the feels too. Acting is superb, and the plot is looking good so far. I just hope this drama doesn't lose its steam (like something in the rain)

....then comes this drama, where a robot is trying to act like a human.
It's not as relaxed and comical as I am not a robot, but it sure got me hooked too. I hope this series remains solid 'till the ending.
1.) Interesting/Unique Plot
2.) Initial preview + initial OST
3.) Kim Won Hae
Yup. Read that right. I see Kim Won Hae, I click. Can make you laugh. Can make you cry. Best supporting actor ever
