Hello! Sorry to be slightly off topic here but could you recommend me some legal dramas (preferably with a romance…
Well that's as good as the show gets (at least for me). It's really a hit-or-miss for people and it was a miss to me. I appreciated a lot about that show though, especially the 2nd couple. They had more chemistry than JCW and NJH

God damn (sorry for the blasphemy)

That was a really solid 1st ep with a really solid soundtrack. I was particularly surprised with the younger members of the cast. They did well too, on par with their veteran castmates.

The cinematography was brillant I hope we get to know more why it is called mr sunshine

Hmmmm you like the opposite of mine but I wonder why you didnt like suspicious partner. It's exactly you're type. Wyws and i can see your voice are both not chill legal dramas, but they have romance and fantasy in it. Suits doesn't have that much romance, but it's generally chill when you compare it to others

As a legal drama lover, I can say this drama is that of the average legal dramas. Above average to be more specific. Plot is simple mixed with some romance. The actors are okay, even with Go Ah Ra, who i absolutely hated in Black. In this drama, she was okay (in a good way). If I had to pick a standout performer in this drama though, it's Lee Elijah. She nails her role perfectly in the sense that she looks the most unique, but still believable for me. I honestly wouldn't mind more scenes for her character in this one.

Overall, this drama has a simple story with a simple cast that performed better than expected. The story didn't get me hooked, but a different perspective on judges was enough to keep me going. Worth the watch if you're a legal drama fan like me :D

2018 surely is the year for melodramas. Liking the genre more and more, and show is another example of it :D

Title Are You Human? Spoiler
I have two theories how this drama will pan out

Theory A:
Kang So Bong will be the one to hit the kill switch. Not because she wants to, but she has to (not yet sure of the circumstances).

Theory B:
Original Nam Shin is brain dead (or something similar) and Nam Shin 3s consciousness will be transferred to the original nam shin's body. He is now 'human'

My guess is that Yeong Joon never really forgot about anything. I think the brother just got so pissed and frustrated because "Hyun" got kidnapped but still is the favorite of the parents so he did something bad to Yeong Joon (cable wires) and was deemed insane for a time before he went into a phase of memory restriction and completely forgot about everything he did. To keep him sane, everyone in the family agreed to making the brother believe that he is the one who got kidnapped (he won't know since he has forgotten already). Yeong Joon must have lived with that lie for so long he continued to play it even with Mi So.

Also, god damn that closet scene was a kiss scene for the books! On par, if not better than that Beanie kiss from healer or the Alien kiss from coffee prince. Would've been perfect if they ended the scene with the closet door closing ;) 1/2 kidding hahahaha

Everyone was worried about the age gap between Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun in Goblin, and Lee Sun Kyun and IU in My Mister. Look how both of those dramas turned out. Mesmerizing performances right? Let's give this show a chance. They're the same guys that brought us DOTS and Goblin
On What's Wrong with Secretary Kim Jul 1, 2018
What I got from the start of the show was that it was straight up hilarious with lots of giggly restrictive romance but as the show transitioned, especially with the psychological trauma part, everything else is looking so unique and fresh. I signed up for a light rom-com which I was already digging, and now I'm slowly picking up another vibe from the show and I'm totally loving it too.

The lines from the characters are super well written (for a rom-com, it's My Mister level in terms of wording)

"... awhile ago you told me to never stir you up again"

"...... that was...."

"I.... want to stir you up"

I mean damn??? I'm just slowly realizing that maybe part of the reason why I love Goblin, Prison Playbook and My Mister so much is that they have unique, heart-piercing words in all their scripts. TVN dramas have super quotable shows. On top of that, they're borrowing different OSTs from different famous shows/movies. The rain scene was presumably inspired by the movie "the classic" and they used the ost for that same scene too. This seemingly simple rom-com is surprising in me in every way.

Yeah they are my thoughts. If you don't like a drama, you can just stop watching it instead of blatantly calling out the drama to be rated lower than 8.9

I don't even get what you want to achieve by spreading hate. Your parents aren't giving you your toys huh

8.9??? How on earth has this got that type of rating.... This is a little bit similar to" fated to love you" FTLY…
If comedy, a light plot, and giggly romance isn't your cup of tea, then don't spread hate. I personally don't like rom coms that much too (more of a legal/crime lover myself) but I'm actually liking it.

You questioning the show's rating has just as much value as us thinking you are a stupid person who questions everything.

Believe me. I watch tons of tv shows (american, korean, french, british) mostly during my off days or after training, and that's something I noticed that is constant in almost every kdrama. In american dramas, they always insert sex for whatever reason. Slow pacing? Sex. Major plot twist? Sex. First kiss? Sex

99% of Korean dramas (with any hints of romance) have a formula

At most, only 1 or 2 between the following are not checked (the rest is always present)
= Rich (or super smart) Lead guy
= Not rich (or not smart) Lead girl
= They both don't like each other at first
= Some time together will develop something
= Awkward first kiss
= Rain appears suddenly out of nowhere causing the two leads to a.) run for shelter together b.) kiss
= Lead guy uses his money (or smartness) to woo the girl
= Lead girl is quirky always adorable

So if it looks familiar to you, that's because it is familiar hahahaha

Strong Woman, I am not a robot, Ohy my venus, Goblin, the list goes on believe me.

6 ep. of romantic and embarrassing moments between the main couple cause of continuous misunderstandings. How…
If you look too ahead of the show and not actually enjoy the moment, you won't feel connected to it at all. My Mister for example, is something that I found it hard to connect with at first, but after some time, I actually felt I was being healed too so I rewatched episodes 1-6 to see if I actually was just impatient that I didn't see the beauty of it.

Now, I won't say the overall plot will get to you cause let's face it, rom-coms have a formula; everything is cliche to a significant extent. What I'm trying to say is give it a chance. So many people like it for a reason

"I see no chemistry between the two and they should've picked a prettier actress" and WTF does someone's appearance…
What the hell.... Really?

I get that the word 'pretty' is subjective in the sense that for example, the prettiest actresses for me are Han Hyo Joo and Park Min Young. Others might disagree and say it is Shin Min Ah or Song Hye Kyo because it's totally subjective.

For you to blatantly call out that Gong Seung Yon isn't pretty though, is not only a problematic opinion but also an idiotic one. You either are a brainless keyboard warrior spreading hate on this page of an actually good show or you're "really pretty" yourself to call out actresses not pretty
