I think not being tooooo invested in the plot was a requirement to enjoy the drama.

Either because I got used to it either because it was really not bad ... but the last episode didn't felt as messy as the others somehow.
I felt more like they kind of managed to close up all the threads that were thrown all over the place. Somehow I feel like it make sens. I wish we had a little bit more kissing screentime ... which left me hoping for a special while the end credits were running.
I don't think we'll ever get one. All in all, it was already a kind of great miracle that this drama came out.
But still I hope we'll see them again one way or another. I really missed those two ...
... Especially Chen wen as for me tbh but .. this drama really made me like Lin Fen Song (Is it just me or he was especially handsome on all the 'trip in Turkey' scenes ?
I already miss them ... the 4 of them even.

For me it was too much. I didn't see just a closure but an unecessary twisted one.

I could go with the father being with Leo's mom first. I don't say I think it was necessary but ... maybe some felt it was necessary to legitimize Leo in some ways. (for me he was just as legitime as it was) ... and I can turn a blind eyes on how could he met Leo's mum before his girlfriend he has a baby with in university ... (and then go back to make a baby with girlfriend one ... ) but some guys are like this ... not good guys though.

But then we learn that even before that he was somehow engage to marry another girl ... made another baby with the girl ... (and I don't comment on the fact that kid#3 voice made her sound not much younger)
So the runaway serial dad story sounds a bit too much all in all ... a bit too much information in one episode ... and hardly a good guy ...

But still same episode we have to take his redemption arc along ...

Yes ... for me it was not a well paced storyline.

Not that there isn't worst done but really too much to be well balanced the way I see it.

Because this drama is so lovey-dovey-sweetie-cute, I feel close to ... very shocked each time there is even the smallest skinship.
Even though they've done worst with the drama mood it makes me feel super shy suddenly like ... I would need a 18+ warning just if they get to kiss ...

It's weird this habit of adding unrequired over the top dramas and twist int he last 2 or 3 episodes ... probably in order to give a crappy fefeling of the scenario before it ends so we are not sad once the show is over ?

So far it was a bit stupid but cute and heart warming and then in one episode I feel like watching a bad 1980's soap of USA.
"dad is not dead but I'm his son and she's the mistress and he has another family because he had no choice but marry a girl who just graduated.... "
... but probably good warning about why condoms have to be used ... to avoid unecessary plots twist in dramas. -_-'

Usually in chinese dramas some ... episode's end are a bit of a dry cut ... but gneral episodes makes sens.
It's true that Bl aren't the same budget, same conditions and here 12 episodes might be a bit short.

But at the same time we had an extented scene of people hanging around in the woods or long shot of fishermen ... so I can't prevent myself to wonder if it wouldn't have been enough to cut on those to make space for scenario developpement ? ° - °)?

But at least, for sure, each episode will bring a surprise about that couple X3

Main couple story still feels a bit rushed but very cute. 😊
💕 I felt like the casual tenderness and affection touches felt very natural.
Like the gentle kissing but then caressing the ear. Or rushed kiss but then also staling a few kisses in the neck. It was very sweet. 🥰

Meanwhile ... 3 episodes left and I feel like they will have a lot to deal with for our happy end.
(second couple storyline is ... let's say, not easy to follow up)

Agreed, we watch this drama or this one for a reason or another reason but not all BL dramas have to have NC scenes and even so for some it can be frustrating it seemed a bit excessive of backlash comment ?
This drama has no full on NC scenes and indeed, I think thai drama (some thai darmas) are more prone to have very graphic NC scenes.
