i can assure you that you will get hooked on HSF!! i had 0 expectations and it became easily one of my all time…
They really made a good job on the Highschool battle ground atmosphere for Highschool frenemy. I wouldn't say it's perfect (there are many moments where normal people would call the police but .... ) for the sake of the cool display it might be valid.
Characters are loveable. The most clever being the little sister and Chadjen ... the teacher is also cool.

I quite like Nani and SKy too ... I think they have good potential which is probably why they made effort on this show ... I just hope episode one level will be maintained all through the show.

Not the same level especialy I think that chemistry is smoother in Wishing ... even though it fine in Never Forget. But still it feels way more ... way way more natural there.
But the way it was scripted or/and filmed. One of the rare recent scene where I felt like it was nicely made was in Never Forget the car scene actually but I really fell in love with the music there also.
For Never Forget actually what I thought was nicely made was how little we see all in all but you still get the feeling. With the music, the few shots of hands sliding up and there and the breath ... it wasn't much if you think about it (which as you mentionned is totally different that in there) but it gave a feeling of intimacy.
I have to say I was not at all ready to such a looooooooong scene there with such a huge amount of nakedness XDD
But yes ... they definitely made it nicely and everyone seems to agree that it was not only a lot but it was made tastefully which is certainly the more important.
Also the scenaristic turn of events really made me happy.
Of course I was happy for the character finally being able to share their love but a part of me was thinking it was too easy ... (which is not actually) so I'm happy about the twist and that they put back the Wish and supernatural aspect in the game !!!!

For the rating .... ... It seems to me that it's usually (unfairly) low for Taiwan drama while at the same time it's crazy high sometimes for thai drama. Either fanbase system working it's biaised rating or Taiwan drama fan being quite seriously stricts ... which might be good all in all ?
Anyway for Taiwan drama it's like a 9,7 for thai drama.
Really well made ! I am not sure the backlash of the wish makes much sens in a "logic" of on and off switch but I think that it works great for the scenario. Even though it was putting the characters through difficulties it really felt like they were dealing with it somehow and that it was not much in their lives. But since it's really the base of all ... it feels well balanced to have it showing up again.
At the beginning of the fdrama, I was expecting like an "off" button and then everyone is back to normal but it's more interesting if things are getting a bit out of hand at some point.
Mostly as for Wan Zhe and Hama-chan ... I was always feeling like it was a bit too much (not the only one though) the way Hama-chan is running after Wan Zhe and am I the only one thinking that when - going out of the police station - he says :
- "if I die like this then you would remember me forever"
it's ALL KIND OF WRONG ! It doesn't have the voice of a joke to light up the mood and therefore if it's a serious consideration ... it's not AT ALL the goal of a relationship ! You seek for happiness, for a long time with the one you love ... not to die in a way that forces the other to be miserable for the rest of his life.
As for me ... it's the backlash of the wish ... I also hope that's what it is ... or else it's what kind of twisted consideration. So I take it as signs that something is NOT RIGHT.
(oh and the NC scene is indeed well made ... we have our share of akward scenes in many dramas, so it's better said)
