I would say my analysis is ... they had a looooong story with manyyyyyyyyy arcs and they did start a lot of those ... and I guess they refused to make a not at all like the book quick happy ending with a fluffy last episodes that would totally drop all the questions that had been made.
But ... yes ... more or like the analysis we all made right.

How come when Xiangyong tries to tell his real identity to Huawei this episode he is note losing his voice as how he was in ep.2 when he tried to speak ? Not that Huawei believes him so far anyway ...

Yep ... ther eis one thing though. On ep 2 when he was trying to tell the truth he was unable to speak. Suddenly mute ... but then in ep7 he was able to say it to Haowei even though Haowei didn't believe him ...

Their story is good, they are well casted and the interactions are great !
But mostly everyone is lovable
