Dad's front and center. Chen Hui is relegated to a couple role. I'd prefer son and dad, which I think would better represent the main dynamic.

But ... the couple portrayal might be a way to ease viewers who are used to seeing #XuKai in an onscreen couple relationship into this very different drama.

If Snake Lord cared, she could probably fight for it. But she doesn't. Not everyone wants to be the king.

I respect and support Xu Kai's choices and wish him the best in both his personal and professional lives.
