Yeah I’m sure he loves having his screen time taken by others 🙄🙄🙄🙄
Yu Zheng claimed that all his artists re-signed.

If that were true, Bai Lu wouldn't have been able leave a few months ago.

People are never satisfied. Some people were criticizing Yan Rui, asking why he keeps going to the Xie family…
Thank god YR hangs around the Xies or we'd never see him. Kind of like Mei Zhuyu not being able to enter the Demon Underworld until wayyyyy late in the story.

It's likely the Xies play a large role in Yan Rui's revenge plan. It worked out that Qingyuan was able to give him regular access.

Someone let the bandits in, causing an unanticipated complication. I wonder who? Perhaps the master Wie and Xie work for?

For those who are doubting Xu Kai’s acting range, I just wanted to drop this here: Xu Kai can act when given…
Mei Zhuyu was a very difficult character to play. Xu Kai had to play a closed-off, isolated character whom we begin to care about. XK gradually took this character, level by level, to someone who could love unconditionally and somewhat jealously.

A true masterclass in subtlety.
