I think this scene already have like in the first trailer of the drama lol. I also wondered why Cdramas always spoil on the big scenes. They did in the opening and closing credits as well. >.>

This lol. I mean, if its true, what people has been spreading, I get it. But its not even true. He gets hate for something that he didnt even do lol.

Out of 18 dramas as a lead, only 4, freaking 4 dramas with sad endings. Its not even that many. 🙄

Also, I want to share that since Under the Power, he has been choosing his own scripts. Thats why the quality of his dramas truly upped to another level after the airing of Under the Power which is the costume drama of the year for 2020. Thats why you found his scripts with lots of nuance and details. Thats because he got offered among the best scripts in the industry.

That is not true. A simple watch of his dramas would tell you that. His last kissing scene is in The Demon Hunter's Romance which is his latest airing dramas back in April 2025........

Chemistry works differently for everyone. But I just want to say that basically, all his romance dramas are hits at China. And we are not talking about small hit dramas but major blockbuster hits that reached 100m/ep like Under the Power and Forever & Ever or One & Only which now have reached more than 70m/ep so far.

One of the praise he always get is how he able to create chemistry with his female co-star even without physical touch. And for an actor to get constantly praised to do that is a compliment since many dramas usually show love from physical intimacy but for him, directors do not have to force such scenes since most of the chemistry from him comes naturally. He is able to show the feeling of being in love just with glances and subtle gestures. I find it amazing how when you watch his dramas, you know why his character has this great love towards his female co-star even when they barely touched in the entire drama like in One & Only. Thats why production teams keeps offering him roles in romance dramas since he usually able to sell the chemistry successfully.

Now the drama is at 34m/ep which is amazing despite the cold market. It gained 5m/ep after the hot broadcast period ended so basically increased 2.5m/ep per month. I believe by the end of the year, it will reach 40m/ep.

This drama has good words of mouth thats why people are still watching it even the drama has ended a few months ago.

About reaching half of the drama and I love it even more. This is the type of dramas that is even better with a rewatch since you notice more things in the story that you didnt before.

Yeah the haters are really the loudest. Many passer-by fans keeps believing all these nonsense and avoid his dramas as a result.

I really think he has the most misinformation on the net among international viewers. People keep spreading this FALSE information when they dont even watch his dramas. When a simple watch of any of his dramas will tell you how untrue is all those accusations.

The 'no kissing' is one thing but also when people keeps saying he play the same cold characters when half of his filmographies are acting in variety of roles. You named it, he is one of the few actors who attempted many different characters be it shy, socially awkward, naive, innocent, ruthless, manipulative, bubbly, cheery, casual, sarcastic, depressed, red flag, green flag, etc, etc.

Or how he keeps acting in bad endings dramas. This drove me nuts the most. He acted in 18 dramas as a leads, and only 5 of them has bad endings. its not even 1/3 from his entire filmography (not even 30%). Yet, thats all people being spreading about his dramas... I really dont understand lol

His sad ending dramas are the most popular ones for some reasons. The Glory of Tang Dynasty made him famous back in 2017. One & Only is his most famous role while Love of Nirvana is his most awarded role. While The Demon Hunter's Romance is really popular, it is #1 drama last month at China.

And there is a different between Sad Ending and Bad Ending. Sad Endings dramas are not necessarily 'bad' if it make sense, not illogical and suit the story.

For Burning Flames, I like it since the drama as a whole is very well written. Many metaphors and analogies and it has great lessons as well.

In Thousand Years for You, Lu Yan cant be reincarnated since its only a few months after the event. So I think he just lose his power (and probably memory as well?). The Director left it for us to decide. I like HEA so for me, they found each other again and its all that matters.

He met Bai Chai at the end of the series though. The Snow Man is the biggest hint. Its the exact same Snow Man that Bai Cai did at the beginning of the drama at the stone mine. And when the door opened, he smile with tears in his eyes, he wont do that if it is another character.
