I am pissed too. I feel so angry at those calling him stalker. Man was not even aware what goes around in her life. People really don't understand what stalking really is. He was never aware about her whereabouts. He stood outside her university to catch a glimpse and even left many times without even a single glimpse of her.

Exactly. The way he is towards Yifan is too different. He is completely a different person with her. He is not a person who speaks much but for her sake, he always gives words of affirmation.

I am not saying he is perfect. He is arrogant, proud, narcissist, cold and gets angry easily but he is not a stalker for sure.

What stalking really mean:

-a person who pursues someone obsessively and aggressively to the point of harassment.

or, -a person who follows or watches somebody for a long period of time, in a frightening, threatening or annoying way

SY is not even aware about what goes on in WYF's life. He only knows her college. He waits at her college gate to just catch a glimpse of her, sees that she is PHYSICALLY fine and leaves. It happens once in a while. He does this not because he is obsessive or something, but he had promised her to always be there for her. Once, he went to her work place because she expressed negativity towards life. Do you guys even have any idea how frightening it is to know that the woman he loves so much has such negative perception towards life. If he really stalked her as some people claim, WYF wouldn't have to suffer so much. She would have known she is getting stalked. You will ultimately realize if someone follows you all the time but she never saw him, means he didn't followed her or did something inappropriate. He wasn't even aware that WYF returned back to Nanwu. He always knew that her family is not there for her, so he took it upon himself to at least check if she is doing fine.

I would have never defended him if he really followed her like a creep. He never did it. He was always respectful towards her. They lived in a house for 1 whole year as roommates but not once did he enter her room or her personal space. He let go of the bigger room so that she will be comfortable as it has an attached bathroom.

WYF is a person who is always on high alert mode. If he really stalked her for 6 years, do you think she wouldn't have known.

I feel the same. I might have read the novel more than 10 times and knew most of the dialogues by heart, knew what was coming for us and still kept thinking about it continuously. The drama did such a wonderful job:)

Sang Yan exists in parallel world but worst is we can't see them again ever:(

1.By the end of ep 18
2.Not a break up but to protect ML, FL goes MIA for 6 months
3.6 months
4.They don't exactly patch up as they didn't broke up but FL calls him and opens up about her past in ep 27
5.No such syndrome
6.They are eo's first love. None of them were romantically involved with someone else.
7.A very happy ending with proposal at the same place they met for the first time. The last episode is completely dedicated to it and the ending is not rushed in any way.

We really went from "The story is not over yet" to "The end"

Their last high school scene just hits different.

Yeah. The first time I watched, it was just her dream but later realized in ep 25 that she really jumped off the building.

WYF and SY have the most beautiful heartbreaking love story. They should always be happy in their universe and make a huge family of their own<3

You put it so beautifully. Watched so many dramas but the love Sang Yan had for WYF might be the purest form of love we will ever encounter. From the very first sight to their coming lives<3

We will never get SY and WYF again. Each of their edits make me emotional, especially on sad goodbye songs. The withdrawal syndrome is so hard. Can I just reset my memory and watch them all over again. 😭😭😭

Honestly, we are lucky. We got so many additional scenes, the proposal scene was so much better in drama, we got 2 bed scenes, so many added kissing scenes that we can't even complain. Youku should compile some deleted scenes and post it for International audience at least.

Can't they give us a compilation of deleted scenes. I don't think much scenes were deleted considering it got the license for all episodes.

It was a happy ending. The poetry showed how WYF wanted to be loved and SY gave her that love.

She saw the game but didn't knew the person was him. Even in the drama, WYF told SY that she used to play this game during college before they got together.
