The grandma and granddaughter scene was so sweet in ep 2 and it was so cute when Lin Xi went to her bedroom, looked at the plushie, and went 'What are you looking at? Never seen a pretty woman huh' 😂❤️

Loving this drama till now!! The small details make it so meaningful like Lin Xi's 👌hand gesture was a subtle power move instead of voicing out 'yes' for the translation battle

I also love the fact that the ML is friendly with other women in the show and they have a clear purpose too instead of simply being obsessed with the male lead unlike typical shows where the ML treats any other women except FL like trash and avoids them like plague lol 😂 I love friendly and interactions between opposite sexes without romance necessarily being involved in the equation.

Hey! I read the whole novel and loved the growth part! ofc it can be better in many ways and hope the drama does it well.

I loved how the focus changed from her appearance to capability and confidence towards the end. he changed for the better as well. He became more considerate. their twins are so cute too!

After changing her personality, i loved how she didn't take shit from anyone and how the novel didn't drag. It got straight to the point, one after the other, after the leads got together.

there were a few parts i didn't like tho:
it was kinda cliche how they said their twin boy has a high IQ like his dad and their twin girl was bubbly, hyperactive, and had ADHD. like why can't a girl take after her dad? Also, Li Yixin's extra track with Lu Yao, a typical bubbly girl with a cold guy who secretly likes her.

Also, the part where the FL shut shames women who dress up to go clubbing. the non-consensual kiss at the club and ML being a sexist at first and all that.

Yea but overall the novel is pretty decent 😄 like you mentioned, its not my favorite too but I can see it getting adapted into a nice bickering and light hearted romantic drama with good character growth. I'm def gonna watch it!!!

Did you like the novel? I'm in Chapter 4 and quite pissed that the ML keeps saying stuff like "You're a woman, you should cook, clean, wash" "You know how to change fuses? are you still a woman?" "I'm a man, I can stay outside late, you're a woman, aren't you afraid of gossip?!". He's so sexist and a few other characters in the book are borderline sexist too. I'm not happy with the ML's character. For god's sake, what year is it? Even my elderly Asian relatives back home don't say stuff like that, let alone an intimate partner.

Does it get better? Will he have character development in this aspect? I won't continue the novel if the ML keeps behaving like this and the FL keeps being a pushover.

I see, I'm happy he loved her then but their story was tragic so its nice that chasing the moon is a new start with the reincarnation story. I'm not sure how that would be shown tho since there's censorship on reincarnation stuff

To the ones who watched this drama or read the first novel of the series, does Tian Qi actually fall in love with Yue Mi later? After watching the scenes in ep 46 and ep 49 where Tian Qi reminisces about Yue Mi, I can see that he's very guilty, feels indebted to her, and is still thinking about her after so many years but does he love her? Is it guilt or does he genuinely like her as a woman and didn't realise it?

I searched up the novel and saw a line in the scene where he finds the wines Yue Mi hid in her yard. He says something like, 'I not only owe my best friend a life but I found out I also owe her love. I can never repay her, I'd rather abandon all my feelings'. He calls her his best friend and says he owes her love. Will he love her voluntarily if not for her tragic ending? He seems to acknowledge her genuine love for him but feels unworthy but does he love her back? How were their dynamics?

If its just guilt and mourning for a best friend who died saving you, im glad they can start new as Bai Shuo and Fan Yue in Chasing the Moon drama and build a proper relationship that could've blossomed in ALP.

I see :/ i wish they include the names Yue Mi and Tian Qi at least once in chasing the moon tho, their story was special to me. One of the main reasons why im looking forward to chasing the moon apart from it being a bai Lu and ao ruipeng drama ✨

aww that’s sad then how can this be considered a sequel if they didn’t buy the copyrights? :/ it’s good that they want these to be stand alone shows but having the same names wouldn’t make a lot of difference for first time viewers
