I did not like the trailer of this drama at all, meaning in the entire 1 minute trailer, only Xi is there, I assumed…
It’s a female centric story. If you’re going to watch only for Yan An you’ll definitely need to reconsider. Yan An won’t be the focus neither the romance.

I can see now why people said this is the best PondPhuwin serie. The cinematography is beeeautiful, there’s a lot of amazing takes here. PondPhuwin’s characters have a lot of conflicts but we understand their actions, even when we don’t exactly agree with it. Their romantic scenes are beautiful and cute and I liked their dynamic in general. I screamed a lot, ngl. Pond was SO HOT HERE OMG!!! I personally loved the OST too, it made the scenes even more beautiful. In general I liked this one but there’s some things that I need to point out.

First, I like Phuwin but we can see that he’s lacking in the dramatic scenes. The scenes still hit us but it’s more because of the story and characters itself, not because of Phuwin’s delivery. I’m sure he did his best tho but it was a issue that I did noticed. Second, some things in the story didn’t make any sense, we need to shut down our brains and just enjoy the show lol

In general I think if you like PondPhuwin you’ll definitely enjoy this one! In case this is your first time watching something from them, I’d still give a try. It’s not perfect but it’s worthy for the cinematography and the couple. Ah, Perth/Chimon did a good job too!

On Yumi's Cells Season 3 May 6, 2026
EP7 had funny moments but omgggg what was that roleplay date? I was cringing in the whole scene lol I usually love noona-dongsaeng relationship but in this episode I felt like Soon Rok was almost like a teenager and tbh sometimes I can’t help but think that Yumi’s and Soon Rok’s actions is a little too childish for their age.

EP8, on the other hand, was better! Their scenes were really cute and more realistic. The wedding scene was cute too, I almost cried seeing all cells reunited. In general it was a fun season but when we compared to the last seasons, it lacked more depth and they don’t give us enough time to really root, care and love this couple. Don’t know exactly how is in the novel but in the series we had more moments and development for Yumi’s previous relationship while the one she’s going to MARRY we only have 2 fucking episodes to fit everything. The proposal scene came like out of nowhere too like omg but ok, in a way I can understand why Soon Rok felt they should marry already. Glad Yumi was more realistic tho.

In general Yumi’s on Cell is one of the most different and interesting series I’ve ever watched and it will be always remembered by me. It was realistic, cute and I loved how smart the whole process with the cells was. It’s a special serie and even tho I think this last season could’ve been better, I’d still recommend! Goeun was perfect for this role, what a good actress!

PS: I think it was funny that Yumi said Soon Rok looked like Clark Klent because in a way I can see that too lol

Don’t understand why people say the tone changes after ep 5. This series just gets better with each ep.
Totally agree! To me it was good until the end :)

Title Me and Thee
Oh I loved this 😭 Peach is one of the most realistic characters I’ve ever seen, he’s so down to earth. He’s also very altruistic and empathic and I enjoyed how patient he was towards Thee. His reactions towards Thee’s cringe actions and phrases was sooo on point too.

Thee, on the other hand, is sooo unserious and his scenes, intentionally, becomes the target of jokes by the script itself. He's not supposed to be taken seriously and I loved this! I think he and Peach made a great balance too because we have completely different characters that learned and accepted each other’s differences. I must say that between both, Thee was my favorite tho. I mean, a mafia guy who is a lover boy and enjoys watching romantic soap operas? How can I NOT love him? He was also sooooo dramatic, funny, sensitive and treated Peach like he was everything in his life. Definitely one of my favorite characters recently.

The main story is nothing WOW but weirdly for me it was enough. I think Thee and Peach are such good characters that they can completely carry the story until the end. Their chemistry was also good for me! WilliamEst couple was also so good ugh too bad that they only had a few scenes. PerthSanta couple did nothing for me, ngl. But great acting for both!

In general I’d definitely recommend this one! It’s easy to watch and it has great characters and chemistry between them.

Title Khemjira
For me, this was one of the most well balanced BLs I've watched recently, although I didn't love it 100%. One of the things I liked most here was how they portrayed thai culture and religion; I found it very interesting. Another good point was the main plot, which is also interesting and manages to keep you hooked for most of the episodes. The setting, makeup, and costumes were good too! Overall, I felt it was a well-produced BL with good investment and care from the team.

About the couples: I enjoyed both but I have to agree with some comments here…the secondary couple was better for me as well. Jet and Chan were captivating, their cute-hot scenes were more appealing for me and even their reincarnation plot was better for me. I just loved everytime they appeared. I think Khem and Peem had some good scenes but they didn’t have the same level of chemistry compared to Jet-Chan couple and and I felt that the shipp worked mostly because of Keng’s acting. He was just sooo believable in the romantic scenes…

One of my few complaints is about Khem as a character. He’s lovely but the script gave him too much of a suffering and helpless vibe. It becomes a little boring at times. I felt that the pacing here was also a bit unstable too and I fast forwarded some scenes, ngl.

In general I think it’s a good and interesting BL. I wouldn’t give 10/10 but I’d definitely recommend!

PS: Don’t know if anyone knows this one but the reincarnation plot reminded me of Until we meet again and even Khemjira reminded me of Pharm lol

On Duang with You Apr 28, 2026
Just finished and I really enjoyed! Definitely a good start for the year! DuangQin’s relationship is soooo cute and they really feel like a couple. They were always kissing, hugging...we had cute AND hot scenes of them and it didn’t feel forced at all, their chemistry is just natural. The main story is nothing new tho but I believe the couple can carry everything with their chemistry. The characters are also nice! Duang is sooo cute!! A little over the top, yes, but easily likeable. Teetee did a great job here because Duang has some really cringe scenes but it felt naturally with Teetee’s acting. He matched the character vibes perfectly. Qin is more reserved and introverted but he opens up more later and becomes a cute character as well. In general they’re the definition of a cat and dog relationship. I enjoyed Duang’s friends too, their friendship was really cute!

One thing I didn’t like that much was the secondary couple. I felt their dynamics was a little weird and they had potential to bring more to the table. They almost didn’t have screentime too and it looked like they were only there to fill the gap.

Some may question the high ratings but I believe everyone has their own taste. It’s a lighthearted drama with cute characters, awesome chemistry and very few problems to get in the way of the couple. When the couple gets together, they're REALLY together, and everything is resolved through dialogue. It deserves a 9.0/9.1 rating? Maybe not, especially if you like more different/complex characters and story, but I understand who thinks it deserves. It’s a matter of preference after all!

PS: I’m already excited for the next projects of TeeteePor couple! I’m seeing some clips of them on Twitter and they’re so lovely 😭

I agree with most of your review, although I have to say that I disagree about one thing, I actually loved Yanan's…
Oh really? I didn’t watch FOF and VOS is my first Yan An drama so I can’t compare much. I think what bothered me here is that when all characters are in the same scene together, the difference in acting was visible. But tbh I think he kind nailed the demon butterfly role.

On Veil of Shadows Apr 17, 2026
Oh, what a ride! Veil of Shadows is a drama that you’ll definitely remember when talking about visuals and special effects because WOW sometimes is like we’re watching a MV. Everyone is beautiful, all scenes are beautiful, all characters farm aura…it’s insane haha It’s definitely what makes this drama different from others and definitely one of the best points. I think it’s a trademark of the director.

About the plot, at first, I found just interesting, nothing wow, but after 5 episodes things improved and it got to the point where I was completely hooked. The plot is confusing and complex, but somehow things connected and I became even more interested. However, I think the director exaggerated a little and the plot twists and new arcs became a little too much, especially in the ending. I feel like he wanted to surprise us even more but idk it became too much for me.

The performances of the main actors were good! Jingyi surprised me positively here; I think she proved herself more as an actress. I already knew Duling was a good actress so she delivered exactly what I expected from her. Joseph was spot-on in the role too. I didn't know Jia Rui but he charmed me. He has a very natural acting style, and his emotional scenes were very natural. Yan An was the weakest in terms of acting but he had some very beautiful scenes and an interesting character so I turn a blind eye. The chemistry between the couples was also good and I liked how the two couples conveyed different vibes. My favorite one was Jiling and Wuyi because their story was just BEAUTIFUL but I also loved Wang Yan and Shi Guang.

About the screentime thing: didn’t bothered me that much because I liked all characters and all actors here deserved the attention they got, however, I understand the complaints of some fans because the director was indeed unfair.

I’m surprised that we had a HE. If someone had told me in the beginning that it would be HE I would have doubted lol Ji Ling and Wuyi are beautiful 😭 Their ending was perfect for them! Ji Ling really is the last romantic alive because he just prefer to live in another parallel world than live in a world where Wu Yi doesn’t exist. It’s a little sad that the sisterly bond was broken tho :/ Wuyi doesn't exist in their world, and consequently, she and Wang Yan never met. And worse, none remember anything either, only Shi Guang. Will Lijie remember in the future? His character ended with a feeling of obsession once again, a feeling that he needs to find someone, so maybe he will. Who knows.

In general I really enjoyed watching this drama! It wasn’t perfect for me but it was really engaging and it gave me one of the best couples of the year. Hope to see the actors in another work together, without this director of course.

What was the billing situation for this drama? Du Ling and Joseph Wang barely even had scenes, either as a couple…
I think it was equal billing but yeah, watching the drama we can see they polished and elaborated more some characters story than others. Personally I think Duling’s case was worst than Joseph’s because at least when reveled that he’s also a dragon, his character became more powerful and was given importance to the main story.

I enjoyed the drama and liked all characters but we can’t deny that the director played dirty.

On Perfect Crown Apr 11, 2026
Just finished EP2 and it got better compared to EP1! The episode flowed better, the actors' chemistry is developing well and I'm already enjoying the characters! I'm enjoying IU's character; her boldness and confidence sometimes give us some cringe-worthy scenes but she's winning me over. She's strong minded and gets straight to the point, she knows what she wants and I loved that!

I've seen some criticism regarding IU’s acting, but for me, is the character that people are not getting. Normally, characters with bold and confident personalities are likeable by the majority but since her scenes have a touch of exaggeration and a comedic air, people are finding IU’s acting cringe or thinking she’s not suitable for the character. In general I think Hui Ju will be a character that not everyone will like but in my opinion IU is suitable and her acting it’s not a problem here.

Now talking about Wooseok’s acting…he’s definitely the weakest in the cast BUT I’m not finding him that bad as everyone is saying. His character seems a little indifferent/cold at times and I think his acting is kind portraying that. I’m not bothered by his acting here tbh and I think it’s a little funny that everyone is questioning his acting skills NOW because he did just fine in Lovely Runner lol

Seung Yeon is being praised by many and she deserves. Her acting is solid and her character definitely brings some drama to the story. Steve is a little in the shadows for now but I think he’ll gain importance later. Didn’t like the potential love triangle tho 😫
