I wonder how far out in their lives will the drama go out to? I see that HT has some white hair on the side.
Someone said they casted elderly HT and JX so Iām wondering if theyāll have the last epilogue. š¢ But in the drama theyāll use the Forgiveness Card during their reconciliation so donāt know what theyāll do since in the novel it was used at the very end,ā¦forgive him for leaving the world first and then JX followed a month later. š Maybe theyāll just stop at the part where they turned over the business to the kids and just spend their time together.
In my mind, they stayed close to the novel because all the key quotes are directly out of the novel.
Not just that imbalance but also the whole āLove is more important than careerā thing contradicts the āI wonāt sacrifice Dongyang for loveā narrative that HT is famous for.
There are actually discussions about this on weibo on how the scriptwriter made the female lead character looked…
Yesā¦thatās seriously the only issue I have with this adaptation because it made things a little too uneven between the two leads. HTās ruthlessness in business was a flaw that his parents and grandfather in the novel warned him about and then they said we told you to leave room for people before theyāre back into a corner, when JX got kidnapped and he got hurt.
They canāt make major plot or character changes. As one of the other commenters said, if they kept the age gap…
Yes , merging two companies is common knowledge but she was a business novice and naive. It wasnāt as much as the act of the merger but how it was done was what prompted her reactionā¦basically it made her feel like she was a chess piece, a pwn, in his fight with his cousin. She doesnāt know the things HT did behind the scenes. We as viewers see the whole picture but she as the character is in the moment and HT in the drama likes to hide things from her that will personally hurt her as well as his more ruthless side of business. At that moment she was questioning everything and had everything jumbled up in her head and she canāt see him clearly. Due to high emotions she canāt see it until she steps away.
The age gap and HTās pragmatic character (especially on love, he did NOT do all those romantic things, love and romance was an afterthought) would have explained her reaction. The other way to have made things make more sense would have been to change both HT and JXās characterizations.
The way they had her leave in the drama sucked and was wrong.
I just watch the drama neutrally and had to stop thinking about what makes sense or not. Only thing that matters is HT and JX love each other and canāt live without each other.
I have a stupid question. I wonder if actors have a voice to change the script? I found there are many problems…
They canāt make major plot or character changes. As one of the other commenters said, if they kept the age gap and HTās characterization from the novel, things would have made a bit more sense for non-novel viewers. She was only in her early 20ās a few years out of college. HT was early 30s (his worldliness and her naivety).
A lot of these comments sound like oppa-apologists š š š. Ji xing isn't a perfect FL but the way some of…
lolā¦oppa-apologistā¦every k-drama with an idol or traffic actor, a lot of c-dramas too. This is probably why Iām more into slice-of-life dramas than idol dramas.
Heās more like a child I think. Because as soon as he saw her break up with her boyfriend at the wedding, he…
SZZ and LiLi was hiding from JX/HT and accidentally turned and looked at each otherās eyes, they did the slow stare like LiLi may be catching the feels for him.
but he can't because of trade secret. the contract doesn't allow him to tell her. and he even tried to tell her…
Owning something is not a trade secret. Itās just a secret. He wouldnāt have had to go into product or business details. Multiple people told him to tell her and he almost did but then that secret is part of a strategic move in a game of chess with his cousin.
Qin Li is the second Han Ting, not only do they dress similarly, but their facial features are also very similar,…
Thatās why I thought she copied and paste from Only For Love. This script writer did similar there and I was hoping she wouldnāt repeat it here š¤¦š»āāļø Oh wellā¦now to watch the goodness everyone is talking about.
