It’s basically because there’s full display of feelings on the ML side but choppy and not fluid on the FL side so there’s missing pieces of he thought process. It turned into the typical perfect ML who learns to love that most audiences love and FL that gets 💩. I’ve seen this way too many times in adaptations of female growth stories. At least on MDL, I haven’t seen the bashing hit the actress personally for this drama. I turned off comments on Viki after some vicious attacks on the FL actress for her character rejecting the ML on The Red Sleeve and never turned it back on again.

I’ve seen Kisskh show express before so hoping they do this time. Otherwise VPN is the only way to go.

I’ve never seen Viki drop express.

They lost novel-HT since the show started with a college crush.

The script writer threw in a love interest for the FL out of nowhere. Some whiz kid who poached a specialist from ML and was trying to compete with ML so he consistantly hit on FL.

Loved Road Home. It was slow for some people since it was slice of life but worked for me. The writer was able to balance both characters and showed realistically where their issues were and how time and maturity helped them grasp and cherish their 2nd chance.

I want that translator pen thing…yeah. That’s what I got out of ep33 along with a nice puppet show about HT/JX.

Boooo 😞 Just finished ep33 and watched 34-35 previews…QL needs to just stick with AI and see his way out. The change with his character is like copy/paste of the 3rd party in Only for Love. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Is it possible to plagiarize oneself?

I had to do the same for a few other dramas too because the fl was always getting bashed for not worshipping the ml.

Agreed…one of the most reasonable perceptions and well thought out comment about HT/JX relationship. I’ve just stopped reading comments on YouTube and X, including some here.

If he had failed, her first boyfriend wouldn’t have left yet. He was actually banking on her to fail. And so who would have known what would happen if she failed, be a house wife?, which was kind of what he wanted.

Yes…they really made him the perfect boyfriend in the drama if you cut out the business aspect.

In the novel HT was the typical rich boy who enjoyed the privileges and didn’t cook and had a housekeeper for it all. He never did all those things in the drama and the focus was on him mentoring her growth in business.

It’s because she avoids the CP thing. When you collaborate in multiple drams, people get too involved in the CP thing and it can turn sour. Just look at XK/BL CP thing. I heard that 7 also got a lesson in it early on with LHR from With You. She got so much backlash from his fans that she never promoted CP again.

I think it's also one of his way of showing his love. It's not just doting, gifting and doing lovey dovey stuff to show love, HT is teaching JX to be an independent person, that can hold her own front in front of challenges. That if they ever do seperate, without him, she can still stand on her own foot in front of wolves.

This reminds me of their HT’s last moments with his son and they were talking about who he wants to pass away first. 😢

That’s what I was thinking too but it didn’t seem like XYX was going to change his mind about their one point of contention and LiLi doesn’t seem like she wants to Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel it. XYX is more right than SZZ by a long shot.
