Nah…Muquing is too gone on fake DCE. Moshuang is nice and innocent. If Wen Shuo didn’t already like Yuanqi, I would have routed for him with Moshuang.

Lol…yeap…when I saw that HT was wearing clothes, I figured they tried to make it less sexual…although, like the Road Home bathroom scene, it’ll probably be sensual tension. She was supposed to be bathing him too not just a shave.

LOL…yeah I agree about Road Home and Here We Meet Again. They had really good kiss scenes. The car scene from Here We Meet Again in the novel was more raunchy (like the ABAY shower scene) but they just made it into a hot make-up session which is awesome for c-drama standards.

The bath tub scene was in his house in the novel too, after he was home to recover. I remember they had two bathing scenes, one in the shower before the break-up and one in the tub after getting back together.

I remember the bathtub scene after his surgery. JX took care of his personal bathing/grooming needs cause he didn’t like the nurses doing it during recovery. 🥰

I don’t remember HT begging to not break up. He just didn’t think that the problems they went through in business had anything to do with their relationship. He can compartmentalize while JX can’t. I don’t think her type of love was superficial but the type where they put each other first versus HT where his priorities will always put his business obligations ahead of love which is exactly what happened because he used her business as a pawn in the game of power with his cousin. It was after the break up that she wanted to focus on developing herself and career rather than getting immediately back together with HT when he visited in the US.
