Nice, now I hope everyone will move on and forget about this unfortunate, but overall not very serious or significant, situation that happened to involve him and weāll all be better off.
I find this type of comments so weird, cant you just wait, watch it and cry after? š
I am allowed to state my opinion, no? Itās just itās overdone⦠heās going to be rather arrogant, have a crush on the FL, and act entitled about her even though his chances to get her would be about 0 (which makes the character always look so stupidā¦) especially already after she is married to the ML. Iām like 93% sure this is going to go like that (based on character descriptions), which is very similar to what happens in a lot of other romcoms, and makes it really hard to like the SML character, and Iād really want to like him (not in a SML syndrome sense, but just like him separately from the love storyline, just as a character for himself) especially, as he is being played by a talented actor, who I am a fan of and who doesnāt have that many roles (when you think about it). Plus, all the other things about this drama look promising, so the love-triangle issue is even more bothersome in comparison/becomes a bigger downside.
That's what I'm wondering too lol. Honestly, some Korean right wingers are kinda crazy so they will attack anyone…
Like, heās literally just stating a fact. Also, I guess, basic views defining āright wingā and āleft wingā are similar, but those terms stand for a bit different beliefs/opinions depending on each country (like āleft wingā means something a bit different in the US, Korea, Japan etc. for example) so a lot of this depends on cultural context. Anyway, still, I donāt get how is this situation a big controversy, knetz are overly sensitive about everything, I see.
I donāt understand⦠Why his commenting about the changes in the exchange rate supposedly means that heās āleft wingā? And why is that controversial?
This whole situation is such a nothing-burger (situation lacking in substance and blown out of proportion, compared to itās importance, actually not very significant etc.).
And honestly, itās all about opinions and preferences, and there are as many of those as people, so everyone will always argue about something⦠there should just be content made for both parties/sides of the discussion and thatās it), but since the C government got involved and people blew it up so much, there are probably going to be some more serious consequences of this all (where that could have been avoided). It was a cdrama-making/cdrama-land critique/scandal but now itās turned into a political agenda (which is an unfortunate course of action, ridiculous development - however, not totally unexpected, I guess, via past experiences) .
Also to make it clear, literally none of this is Zhang Ling Heās fault, so I do hope heāll not catch any serious heat from this.
Edit: not really talking about weight though, I agree that a lot of these celebrities are too skinny for their own good and healthy, and toxic industry standards should be challenged.
"To portray a realistic sense of being struck and exhaustion""Every time it's real hits and real reactions,"…
Probably there wasnāt, but from bts of dramas involving some action, that Iāve seen, itās not that rare to have them beat each other up for real (probably still not as strong as it would have been in real life, but they do hit each other). Like with one drama with Lay from EXO in a main role. Itās not very healthy, but weāll, if itās pretty normalized⦠Or it could be the translation issue, maybe what he means is that they made contact (so no real beating, but you know, that fake kind of fight like the do in a lot of movies worldwide, when they do dynamic hits and touch each other but without real strength at the last moment - moment of contact) so they did fight and really ābeatā and hit each other, but it was acting, but that didnāt completely fake it or use a stunt double. Those interviews tend to be answered/translated in a flowery language that doesnāt accurately represent the original sense of what they say sometimes.
Justice for zhang linghe coz what the heck, and he cant even clap back.
agree, it seems like because the drama is really well shot and popular, heās become the public target; whereas the MLS in all historical cdramas are styled in the same way, if theyāre going to criticize, they should criticize the industry standards as a whole and not a single actor and/or sigle drama.
30 Year age Gab Noona Romance lolI bit toooo large agegap for me š š But I'll wtach anyway because of the…
I think, itās probably meant to be less like a regular romance drama, and more challenging/uncomfortable, hence such a big age gap and different tone.
And omg I did not recognize both male actors in those hairstyles/clothes haha

I cannot wait!
