Itās funny how ML and others react, but honestly horse shit doesnāt smell all that bad. After working at a stable for some time, during a few summers, Iād even say itās one of the most tolerable animal waste scents (tho every waste starts to smell bad after āfermentingā etc or laying around for too long) probably because of their fairly simple diet. Overall not a very bad smell, and itās pretty easy to get used to it if you work around horses.
Iām intrigued to start this. Can someone spoil the male leadās background for me? Iāve heard that he loses…
I Just started, but it seems he was a newly appointed regional magistrate, and a royal inspector in disguise, but he started boldly going against corruption and hidden agenda from years ago so the other officials handed him a case that was supposed to rub others the wrong way and ruin him (if he were to deal with it seriously, which he did), and so he was ruined and one of his own servants/officers (I think? Anyway a guy that followed him around before, but also seems to give away information to someone else) orchestrated an attack on him , while he was traveling to meet with a coroner due to that ongoing case. But the assassination failed as he fell down the mountain, hitting his head so he later doesnāt remember what happened or who he is, and was found by the FL who saves him (although without any enthusiasm) and makes him a servant. She met him before so she knows who he is, but at the magistrate office they say that the ML was an imperial inspector and after receiving a letter he urgently returned to the capital (which obviously isnāt true as he is here) and theyāre all apparently behaving like everything is normal (so his demise might have been plotted by a lot of powerful people in the region and/or the capital, and people from the whole office under him might have been on it), because of that the FL isnāt actually sure of his identity and is suspicious about him (saving him was also expensive, since he was seriously injured, so she isnāt very happy with him). All this I know after (not fully yet) watching 2 episodes.
A very short scenes , first in the court room, then in one with dialogue making an ambush interview with the ML.
Thank you! Do you know if thatās all or is he going to be in ep 3 too? I thought he might be the episodeās ācase subjectā (accused in court) so his role will be important in that 1-2 episodes, but is that not the case?
I really like how this movie has a somehow pedantic character with OCD or something similar, but he is also nice and playful. Such characters (especially male) are often presented as cold, nonchalant and distant in media, while they do not have to be and people in real life arenāt always like that as well.
Iām under the impression that Yoo Yoon Seok plays a lot of Doctor roles lol, and even if itās not that much then his Doctor characters are likeable and prominent enough to be remembered for a long time, which creates the image that he plays them a lot.
This drama isnāt bad, but itās not very good either. I feel like they might have used too much rom-com troupes to the point that it becomes unnecessary and tacky, but if someone likes makjang style dramas, it shouldnāt be a big problem. It can be fun and entertaining, yet I am disappointed by the last episodes.
Iām kinda glad that I watched this as it was airing, because if I hadnāt done that, it would be sitting on my āto watchā list forever lol. But I also kinda feel like Iāve wasted too much time on this drama, it might not have been worth it idk.
I understand why this is a problem, I guess, but i as of now, what he said isnāt as big of a controversy that it would warrant the boycott of the entire show, in my opinion.
The music is so annoying, the whispery, breathy vocals, like the singer is struggling to sing, I'm not a fan of…
I didnāt finish One Spring Night but I intend to do it someday (so I donāt think that I actually ādroppedā it) but in itās case I actually really liked the songs, I liked the lyrics way more than here and the song fit the drama more too. I guess, because I listened to the ost of OSN quite a lot before seeing the drama, it helped me like it more. But I totally agree that OSN and SITR are both kind of difficult to get through, and I guess you have to specifically want to watch this kind of drama at the moment, to enjoy watching them - otherwise itās just tiring.
So now, you're comparing a great actor like Lee Jong Suk to a guy who must have high-placed people in his family.…
Law and the City was so good though šš just not a kind of drama that is usually popular, and people had different expectations about it, so I guess thatās why it flopped. But Lee Jong Suk is a good actor, though I often find him play similar kids of roles. I wonder why he exited this drama (and apparently another upcoming project as well), maybe a scheduling conflict? Or once the director left he did too (understandable)?
