I started watching so i can binge watch. But i dont like the clumsy type character played by go youn jong. Like…
I guess everyone has a different taste. Imo, O I yeong is one of the best characters I have watched so far. I like a character that is decisive, true to their feelings and fearless. I can say I have watched a lot of kramas. This is only the second time I have been invested in a character. The first one is Oh Hae Young (Another Miss Oh). I like O I-yeong for being outspoken but not exactly rude. She appears indifferent but caring. She acts childishly but matured. The way she has forgiven Sa bi's sabotaging her report without explanation takes a lot of maturity. She understood Sabi's jealousy. She confidently knows that she's lacking in so many ways and does not mind being told off. Even knowing that, she always tries to work hard and always learns from her mistakes. Her feelings don't get swayed. She knows she likes Dowon, she knows she's not going to break up with him, and she's also sure that they will eventually marry.... there are lots of Kdramas who create miscommunication as their main conflict. This one does not have that. The story is clear, it's funny, and entertaining.

It's a shame that our assumption about him falling in love with her first seems wrong. Even so, I still like the…
Here's my own theory. I think he likes her first. I don't think he will help her secure the job if he's not. Even Dr. Myeong, at the end of Ep1, commented," So that's "Oh I Yeong." Dongwon must have pushed her applications forward and the way he denies it at the table makes him look guilty and so the sister told 520 what does she expects when she does not have any connections blah blah... aside from that there are lots of nuances in the way he looks after her, feeding her. The water from the fridge without a label, the bread from her drawer; also, when they were in the restaurant, he handed her all the things that she liked: pork belly and other meat, and the others were staring while 520 was taking it all. The slices of cake. The sister said Dowon bought it and 520 said that it's also her favorite... My favorite scene of all is when she was eating the tiny legs of the crab and Dowon endearingly said, he would buy her crab next time. There's such tenderness in his words. You can see that the feeling is there. It is just that he didn't expect that she would like him back and that scares him. So he tried to step back to control his emotions.

Is it just me, or does O I Yeong have depression? Or is she experiencing depression?
Understandably, I guess everyone would be depressed if they owed 50million won.๐Ÿ˜‰

Im confused regarding episode 2 / 3 - canโ€™t remember which one but at the end they are doing the group shoot…
They started their residency in March. The group photo was in May. Then Dowon tried to keep his distance until the jealous phase in October. That's also when they started dating. But they are in-laws and co-habiting in the same house for a year. That is why I-young not so shy towards him. I would not be surprised if they already had a crush on each other for many years, considering their siblings have been married longer than 5 years and dated for 4 years.

Could someone recommend me romance dramas that are rated lower than 8.0 on this site, because I've already watched…
Here are my lists:
1. Cunning Single Lady - 7.8
2. The time we were not in love - 7.4
3. Bubblegum - 7.2
4. My Girl - 7.8
5. Discovery of Romance 7.5
6. Lovestruck in the city -7.9
7. Emergency couple -7.9

Personally, I don't care so much about MDL ratings as I don't do reviews. Not everyone who watches a drama rates and reviews it. The list above has bad reviews, but I did enjoy watching all of them. Liking a drama is based on one's preference. For me, there are actors and actresses that I admire but not necessarily admire their acting. Most of them are good in one drama, then bad in others. I don't force myself to watch a drama because it's highly rated or popular. Though I like both of these actors, I haven't watched this drama. I am skipping it for now as I don't like the storyline. The 2015-2016 kdramas are mostly good. Enjoy ๐Ÿ™‚

I don't think they're the endgame, though. They're just starting their residency, and I don't think they will focus on their lovelines. ย I agree, they don't have a loving chemistry. So it will be an open ending. But I can feel a S2 for Sa Bi's storyline. For me, her character has the potential to be developed. She's young and a new talent. She's pretty as well and tall. She might surprise us next time, like she did with her dance moves.๐Ÿ™‚

I love the stories and the challenges residents are going through, but the love lines are just not giving. Hate…
I think Jae-Il is just being true to his character, who lacks confidence, so he follows those he thinks knows better than him. I don't think he's in love, but just attracted to the type that will make him a better person. He's like an impressionist, he copies good traits that he sees, like the 3rd year resident and Gyeol.

I agree with ML's love life, though their scenes made me laugh, but I don't really like KDW to be goofy. I don't know why the director thinks it's okay for him to act lovey-dovey. Even teenagers don't act like that when they are in love. It is frustratingly funny though.

Imo, I think she's just naturally white/porcelain colored. If you look at her arms, it's much whiter than her face. Perhaps it's the camera gradient. I noticed that in most dramas, actors are better looking than in real life photos. For me, there's only a handful of actors/actresses that look better off-screen. I guess it's what you called a film makers trick. ๐Ÿ™‚

I agree, I find him sexy. There's a gentleness in his approach and he may be a quiet type, but he looks confident.

I also like how their characters are all down to earth except for Sa Bi, perhaps ๐Ÿ˜‰. They are not embarrassed to say they don't know or they are scared. Not like other medical dramas where most characters have inflated egos.

Frrrr when he smiles the way his eyes smile along, i have never seen such a pretty and warm smile. I feel OYY…
I like that I young is so straightforward. She was never shy with him. I like their whispering scene when she was savouring the crab. It's more intimate than the elevator kiss. IMO, the director rushed the kissing scene, and it ended up being awkward. I wouldn't mind if he just put his arms and planted a kiss on her forehead; it would be much more sincere. The dating scene is a bit too cheesy, though I find myself smiling. But maybe a bit more toned down. I think Do Won should stay as a serious character and let 520 do all the flirting. ๐Ÿ˜‰

It's funny how others criticise Jung Jun Won's aesthetic feature and say it's not so fitting for GYJ. Hello! Have you seen old photos of your fave actors before they became popular? Ha-ha!

Tbh I also like good-looking K-drama actors, though most of them have had cosmetic surgery done. But attraction ends when they can't deliver their characters. But Jung Jun Won may not be so good-looking, but he is attractive in a natural way, and I don't think he had any surgery done. Otherwise you will not be bashing his looks. He's a good actor and has a very good voice. When he walks, his stride is sexy and confident. It's the first time I have seen an actor walk like that. JJW nails his character and that's all that matters. He is the only one Ku Do Won.

i wanted to see Hospital Playlist before getting into Resident playbook but two seasons of 10+ episodes of 1h20…
Resident Playbook's characters are totally different from Hospital Playlist. The cameos from HP actors do not add to the storyline. Though it's good to have an update on how HP doctors are doing and their love life, I prefer Resident Playbook. Oh I Young's character is so relatable, and she speaks her mind. Some viewers do not like ML, as he's not a flowerboy but IMO he really suited his character. Both leads has a good chemistry. If one is after a good story, watch it. If one just want to swoon over leads to make them feel better and have fantasy then this is not it.

How did Yu Jeong get into the school? Its not like she is rich? Merit? Thats what im guessing.
I think she's just low profile, but I think they have money because her father is an agent. He even mentioned that he rented the Quiznos and sent the owner to the US using his own money.

You and me are opposite Al, in every way. I really like him, but acknowledge he's not great in all his roles...…
Likewise, I also like him as a person. He's also very good-looking. To be fair, he can more than act compared to most A-listers, but it's more of theatre acting. Perhaps because he's done more theatre roles. I've seen more Korean supporting actors who have no fan base who act natural and can do any roles, but they're not being given a big break. It's unfortunate.

I really don't know why I like this drama, most probably because of the acting. The characters are all so crazy that I felt like I was in one with them. This is my go-to drama when I'm feeling repressed.
