I think this applies only for people who watch dramas exclusively, cuz HJM is not underrated at all, man has a…
You are right. Hwang Jung Min is highly rated in his own country. I think in Korea, an actor is considered an A-lister if they're mostly doing movies rather than dramas.

Maybe this isnt the type of drama that you enjoy. I also many times likes dramas with low rating but super bored…
Likewise, I dropped King the Land too. My Demon seems interesting but dropped them too. Taxi Driver, popular yes. After 2 episode dropped them too. I watched moving and while it's entertaining but it didn't leave a heavy impact on me like Missing: The other side did... I was hesitant to watch Twinkling Watermelon at first I thought it's just popular because it's a youth drama with lots of young viewers. I'm surprise that it was really good and all the actors played their part very well. Worth my 16 hours of time . It has a rewatched value for me.

Loved this so much when I watched it but it is 8 to 8.5 good not 9.2 so I think it’s a bit overrated compared…
I've watched lots of dramas and there's only a few that I can say worth your 16hours and this one is. Their acting is all well blended. Though I'm not really keen on the 2 couple's love story, but still well balance acting. The music score, humour, crying scene are all spot on. When Ryeoun doing sign language at the same time we can see the expression on his face, his frustrations, his love for his parents... i can really feel his emotions radiating from the screen. I don't normally trust mydramalist rating but this one deserves it. πŸ‘

I was hesitant to start this coz i'm not really a fan of youth drama. I'm glad i did because it was really good. I dare say on par with Hospital Playlist 1✌️I just hope award giving bodies will recognised all of them. They all deserve an award πŸ‘

Wait a minute... The best is to just skip Sang Do
I do skipped his scene. Which is a shame because i like the actor. He's good in Insider and The Day. They should introduce a better love interest for him so as not to waste his character, otherwise we will always remember him as a pathetic character. From the very start SamDal and YongPil are already destined together. Born the same day, grew-up together, childhood sweetheart. I'm confused why people around them are surprise with their relationship when they gossip about them every time.

somehow this seems off. beacause looking at his career I know he was not in it for fame or money, he worked on…
Generally speaking when someone ended their lives is because they think they failed their family and they no longer want to be a burden. They cannot look into their children's eyes, the thought of their family suffering, facing the backlash because of their wrong doings are gut wrenching and they do think it's better to just end things and so the others can live without them as a reminder of how things had gone wrong. Some people think commiting su*cide is an act of cowardice but to those who has done it means sacrificing life for the benefit of everyone left behind...

this is just my take on the subject but just like everyone i also don't know why he has done it. What I do know is there are lots of people grieving for the loss of one very good actor in KDrama. Rest in Peace Ahjussi πŸ˜’πŸ™

Why? Why they often speak english?I am sorry, but let's be honest. I will not say anything if their english pronounciation…
I do agree with you. I haven't watch this drama but generally speaking, it's awkward to listen to some actors who are really not used to speaking in English. And also there is no subtitle.

I'm on episode 4, and no way in big 2023 are they this uninformed about HIV. Did they really have a character…
Most people will have heard of AIDS but not familiar with HIV. Not because you know, others will know too. Watch the next ep, it will answer your confusion. Also, the mother explained that she only learned it late, that was when she visited her child at the hospital and she had blood test done after feeling dizzy. She made sure that her child get tested right away and she's negative.

Haven't liked a single drama he's in. (Either not my genres, historical kdramas or thrillers. Or genres I'm more…
I agree those 2 dramas are boring. But i like his movies and I like him as well. I think he's better without love interest.

Title A Time Called You Spoiler
I have started to watch this show since 9th september..today is 12th and I am still at 7th episode. I haven't…
I know what you mean. I watched 2 eps of the original but it didn't pique my interest and so I waited for the Korean version. Though an interesting storyline but still lacklustre in terms of romance. You can't feel their love but only selfishness. The FL plays god by making reincarnation a trip to the park. Just use an old walkman and listen to song and vΓ³ila she's with her bf πŸ™„

Also, i don't think their choice of song is what would make someone happy once listen to. Which the FL written dedication meant to. Gather my tears is a very sad song. I first heard it on Hospital Playlist and i listen to it until i memorize the lyrics. One time my husband who is english told me not to listen to it because it's very sad. I was surprised because he doesn't normally tell me what music i should listen to and it was also the first time that he heard it and the fact that it's korean and he's not familiar with the language. It really surprises me that he can feel the agony behind the music and so i told him what happened to the original singer πŸ˜”πŸ˜’

That kid with the fish, i thought he had powers too coz it looked like he was communicating with the fish?
I rewatched the previous episodes and I understand more:

β€’Ki Soo also trained for PE but he dropped out because the basketball hinge also collapsed on him injuring his ankle. According to Bong Seok he used to fight a lot until that accident happened to him and he became the Ki Soo that they know now. Perhaps he has achilles heel. When he injured himself the asst teacher only looked at him while he was suffering in pain. Then he started to rebel. And then the head teacher failed him and gavr him a C.

β€’ there was a scene where he grab a paper from Hee soo and he said are you applying for PE because the teacher told you to? Then later on he follows her and KangHoon thought that he's into something but i think his intention was to warn her. Then he got beaten by Kang Hoon. The next confrontation was when he warned Kang Hoon that he's going to exposed whats going on.... He also said to Kang Hoon that they are the same, a bully but kang hoon was worst because he relies on his super power to bully people like he did to him.

β€’ i think he normally hides on the second floor and he knows beforehand that basket frame will collapsed he saw who was behind it. But he was not able to do so last time and hid in the toilet instead.

β€’the 'sniffer' first scene was he kept on sniffing until he has a runny nose meaning all those children at school has special ability but in 10 years that he's been managing the agency, something has yet to materialise. I believed most of the parents has hidden their children's superpower. Like Bong Seok mum's tried so hard to keep his ability by weighing him down. It's only Kang Hoon that was not able to hide his superpower

β€’Bong Seok also inherited his mother sensitivity and he knows whats going on around him. You have to watched his reactions for nuances. Like Hee Soo's friend who was bullied and moved to join her at that school.. hee soo asked where did she go and she was looking for her. She said she stopped and talk to the guard. Which Bong Seok find odd. As we know the guard is a spy.

Presumptive of me to think that Kisoo is a 'wild card' he has superpower but hiding his full potential as he doesn't want to be used by the organization. He acted like a bully but i don't remember seeing him bully anyone. He was pitted against kang hoon when all along they know that kang hoon has superpower. Which means for me that he's on par with him. He also has lots of screentime and wore the North face jacket as product placement
