Don't be hypocrite. If you want to do criticism then measure each and every show with same criteria(don't be d show u like z good n a show u can't connect with is low level media) Then there are those who can't fathom any criticism of the A FICTIONAL show at all. As i said in 2019 - If one has right to praise a show, others have right to do a critique too.
I enjoyed the 1st episode. Its an original drama - a fiction created from the name of Arimura Kasumi the actress. Very casual episode of day o day life of a family except when a guy pops up. There is not much confusion and by no means story is all over the place when the only main event is entry of makoto.If everything is shown in 1st episode itself then what will left of story. And in Japanese media symbolism matters a lot.
ECOTV Subs have provided the detail of Mom's relationship with Makoto which even i had mistaken as Makoto being the son of Store manager but that wasn'tt making much sense because Store manage had 1min of screentime and it was clear from before,at, after talk of manager that he was possible future prospect.
The things that viewers should have easily guessed but many of us didn't - i'm included in it. I was concentrated on legal prospect but didn't pay attention on Biological prospect.
Just 2 minutes per episode. Actors choices could have been better and this kind of manga are usually not made for teens. Its not a gag comedy either. I will give it better description - Watch the world of a cat through the actions of a human. 1st 5-10 episodes gonna be start and proper telling us what Nekomura-san is and what the cat wants. The real progression if for later episodes. So stick with it.

BEST part of the show - Clients and their requests and you can easily see all of the clients have real life example. Milk Powder scandal had hit China quite hard few years ago. it was a big news and we can see how both PR companies fought hard to get this milky project. Good - Love. the simple love of Wei Zhe and Da Lin. Few weeks ago i had commented about it. For Wei Zhe it looked quite real but for Da Lin it looked a bit fast but when it started it developed well. Writer was quite confused about how to declare and define romantic relationships. Shu Qing love line with the guy kept on repeating for whole show and we got no answer of it. Stella was completely ignored in 2nd half. A guy whose father is in coma was romancing with her for all episodes and then both got ignored. The male partner wasn't even treated as side character. Louise got nothing too. no development. Many loose openings here and there with no outcome at all. Mother popped up so could provide a brother to Wei Zhe and that brother has nothing to do. he was in the show only for the sake of showing us more of Bonnie's character. Solution provided by PR team looked too idealistic and non-practical. Most of problems were solved behind the scenes and most of Crisis management and public relations was reduced to checking SNS trends.
Good time pass. Fun watch. rare Chinese drama i liked but it still lacked quality.

I was about to write big comment on much more. 1 - Its in all Chinese dramas now. Story start in foreign land and there hero or heroine face thugs who are hilariously violent. And atleast once main character gonna say how China is the best. So we can say this writer applied the same tactic in this show. 2. I think writer was confused or maybe problem with translation. Main characters themselves never said they were into romantic relationship with these side characters. Wei Zhe clearly rejected Pei Yu being his gf but other characters repeatedly treat those relationships as such and even main leads don't reject it few other times. 3. This show needed 5 more episodes to clear things. The only thing we got is Happy Proposal from our Wei Zhe. Rest of the characters and their life was completely ignored.
Episode 50 just aired on the official youtube channel of the broadcaster and it said 50 is the last episode. Happy outcome as expected. I've really enjoyed this chinese drama. That proposal. Also You can clearly feel the work of CUT. Many scenes cut to make 50 episodes show. Those scenes you can see in short clips each day uploaded by official channel.
Shu Qing easily escaped everything. Bonnie got the outcome of her foolishness. Stella was ignored and that other guy had no visible role.
Everyone gonna agree - They could have done better job planning episode 49 and 50 that satisfy the audience. You can nitpick how they resolved everything hurriedly and left most of the outcome for the audience to imagine
Entertaining episodes. Show is taking idealistic route from start which might not be realistic and practical but for a tv show that's what you want. Good to see in variety of clients and different solutions for each crisis but you have o also accept that writer just brush off each and every client and come up with wishy-washy answers and at times we don't even get to see a proper outcome. The subtle or simple romance fits the show and both Wei Zhe and Da Lin but again comes up with wishy-washy writing. You can see it for Wei Zhe but for Da Lin it looks a bit too fast. Any show with subtle love someone or other ans someone will stand up and say they look good as buddies. I have seen this stance being applied too soon too many a times. Thankfully writer from start remained consistent and that is clearly visible from the growth of Wei Zhe. I'm perfectly fine with this couple.
Those who are looking for romance - its about to start. seems like director has given the permission now. 2nd Episode 28 is good for those who are annoyed by heroine. I kept thinking why everyone including audience called that jerk Heroine's boyfriend when not single time heroine has done so. My observation brought me sweet returns in this episode. That's why i say don't jump to an outcome without looking at the whole scenery. Just because You're interested in someone doesn't mean you are in a relationship.
