PR fight is quite i nteresting in the show.
I've seen several business-romance Chinese dramas but they quite easily become dragged melodrama where nonsensical situations and events occur one after the another. But this show has good written script and sensible characters.
Female lead annoys audience but i think the way her character is introduced and brought forward she isn't an idiot. Things will become more clear later on and we will see her learning valuable lessons of life and business.

Any update on their relationship on ep 22? (more or less) i don't mind spoiler !
Side characters are trying hard to give them a clue to start something but it seems they haven't received the script yet. Its 50+ episodes so we will get to see some romance.
I'm enjoying PR work far more.

The start of episode made the whole episode look quite better. It showed that how much teenagers read manga and all of these fantasy scenarios have already been used in manga world. It looks a bit too fast when everyone accept kouta's presence but still all other factors make it all work. I'm really enjoying this.
Aoihachi and Irozoku subs are doing spectacular job translating Japanese shows.

Those who have so me n habitations about this show need to keep this view in mind too that this is Manga-to-Liveaction - so what you call exaggeration is actually normal. Both are different medium. 2d vs. 3d.
Director can either execute it the total manga way or come up with his/her own presentation via that might easily pertain to real human world. More often that not writer follow the 1st path with deserting with it with 2nd.

You have to accept the fact that there is wide range of asian heros - 100s of them whose behaviour for most part is questionable and its openly romanticized and the audience love these heros. You can say Kyoichi is the latest entry into this famous circle.
Here atleast hero's actions are reprimanded and not wholly put on pedestal like those fluffy romances.

I have given this show 6.5 generously. Story is weakest part of whole show. All faults lie with writer. I always talk about wri+dri combi but here director has shown competence but wishy-washy writer tried hard to bite more than he/she coul chew. The one who isn't aware about their own limitations. Its in nature of kdrama writers to make mockery of audiences IQ. Writer acted arrogantly and trashed his own story with illogical twists everywhere.

I agree with helldraco.
