Don’t worry - Not much! Jiang Ying’s friend is Sang Zhi’s coworker and just piles on a lot of work for her. Nothing too dramatic. She did meet her once at a work event but Shan Zhi handled it.

I really don’t understand why she gets so much hate. I’ve seen her haters dedicate their lives just to be her number 1 hater and I find it so hilarious.

I love how she analyses every scene and is always so professional! I watch her bts - sometimes when they do kiss scenes, you can tell she’s more into getting the right angle while her MLs are lost into it haha.

Haha no worries! I think what’s significant is how he obtained the red envelope - By calling Sang Yang “Gege”. While it’s cringy (a grown man would only use “Ge” instead of “Gege”), it’s what Sang Zhi’s future husband will call her older brother.

It’s nothing too significant. There’s money inside and red envelopes are for luck.

She’s strong and knows her worth. She doesn’t lose herself when she likes a guy. She comes from a very supportive family and it shows.

It’s minor but when he first started to feel something different for her, he started to edit Sang Zhi’s contact info on his phone to “Zhi Zhi”. He thought about it and ultimately clicked “do not save”. Netflix showed it as “saved”.

I think I prefer Netflix because they make it more understandable to me. However I saw that they translated one part wrong and it was a pretty big thing so I’m not sure lol

I think the style and the chemistry with everyone is also why this drama is so successful. Her wardrobe is the BEST of any modern cdrama and the whole cast are so comfortable with each other. I really translated well onscreen.

Her parent’s perspective, - it isn’t that he’s so much older, it’s that she’s young (and DJX’s circumstances isn’t great)

SZ’s perspective - mostly joking about age because she thought there’s no way he would see her as anything other than a kid.

DJX’s perspective- the age isn’t a big issue (he jokes as well) but she is in fact, his bff’s sister that he first met at age 14.
