The kiss scenes work, though, except for the one in the finale. He has been so awkward all along that it feels appropriate for him to be a bad kisser.

... wow... this was pretty good. I enjoyed the development of the relationship and the pacing was very bood. Production quality was better than average as well. Very much worth the time. Looking forward to seeing it again when it's amalgamated to a 'full' version.

They combined the entire series into one long video. This seems to be SOP for Tencent and other web channels these days; the short episodes collectively make up 1 - 4 "movie length" segments of 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

Well! I'm happy to see this review pop up on my feed .... This is one of my absolute faves in Cdramaland ... now going to read the actual article to see if the writer agrees with my reasons for loving it... lol ...
EDIT: Now that I've read, I'd say this is a very good synopsis of the drama and the characters without spoilers. Only point I'd disagree with is the resemblance of the 2nd ML to Hu Yi Tian ... lol ...

It's just so sad .... lol . .. they have a lot of fun dramas, but the lousy subs are so legendary ....

I think LLtG represents a particular set of viewers who enjoy what the show presents, it is a pretty decent representative of its class. It'll be interesting to see when it slips out of first [as I sincerely expect it will, eventually].

I actually have yet to see the entire Untamed. I started watching prior to LBFAD and quickly realized I needed more understanding of the fantasy world The Untamed occupies. Having seen some other xianxia, I think I can now appreciate it more, and am just waiting for a free period to binge it. I'm not saying it will replace other dramas as my top ranked, but I respect the opinions of others enough to at least check it out.

On the poll, I really like the idea that you can change your vote if you find a drama you appreciate more. It will be very interesting to see how people's taste change as we progress into 2023.

I did find it a bit curious that it would be.

Lin Zehui and Li Fei have been in several of these short dramas together this year.

Still looking forward to the 2nd season. He's been working on several other drama sets, as have some of the other actors, so post-production may be slower than we'd like. However, I'm hoping we'll see 2nd season before the end of the year.

I don't know why such a comment would be deleted .... smh ... but you definitely have a right to say a show is boring or not .... I'm looking forward to more good quality suspense and thriller series this year. It seems the directors and writers have gotten the hang of it.

There are a LOT of modern Cdramas out there. I just don't think the quality of writing and production is on the same level as many costume dramas. So most are pretty forgettable.

Reset is one of only two dramas so far I would give a 10 ... and it barely got 10 votes here.

Those are Mango's subs. By that I mean they deliberately rely on the auto-translated subs. They're hardwired to the drama in other sites besides Youtube.

This. I'm probably going to learn enough Chinese to watch this without subs before somebody changes these subs for the better.
