Nobody's volunteering to sub for Mango. Just saying.

Sigh ... it's really bad when I, a person who has watched Cdrama only since April, can interpret the dialogue more accurately than the Eng subs on MangoTV's YouTube channel.

I really want to watch this drama, but I can't imagine sticking with it based on the subs. Does anyone know if I can see it elsewhere with better subs? TIA

We may have to wait for a while ... this looks like it may be a good watch.

I'm pretty sure it's Seal of Love, which is now out on either Tencent's or Mango's Short Drama platform on Youtube. Plus it's been subbed by Love in dramas or Neko Meow on Youtube.

Yes, they DO! So annoying! ... Some dramas do better with it than others.... like saving them for one spot at the end of the entire thing ... but others repeat the same few scenes every other episode ... Grrrr...

I see I'm not the only one who fast-forwards through the flashbacks. If it's a genuine flashback to some event not in the timeline of the story, it's different. But those constant repetitions of the kiss moments, the tender moments, the breakup moments - sometimes lasting up to 3 minutes at a time - I just skip over.

I found it fascinating that so many Cdramas are at the top of this list, when on MDL as a whole one has to specially design searches to find them. Pretty obvious that placement is impacted by the voting pool.

This is well expressed. I do agree that this year's C-dramas feature more because they are more recent. Also your comment about subjective vs objective favorites resonates; I keep thinking about Miss the Dragon, which I really like a lot on a personal level, but which objectively contained many, many flaws.
I'm going to be following this poll. I'd like to see how it shifts from month to month, especially as more people get to know about it.

I am not surprised to see 2022 dramas dominate this list. There have been some really good dramas this year. However, I would attribute the dominant place of LLtG and LBFAD to the timing of the poll. I certainly expected to see the Cdrama thriller "Reset" [2022] in the top 20, but I suppose people who liked it didn't prefer it to higher scoring dramas.
This is an interesting concept, and I'd love to see what the top ten are next year.

This looks pretty interesting.... I'm interested to see Song Weilong in a role that doesn't depend as much on the romantic plot line.

I'm hearing an air date of Nov 10 for this now. EDIT: that air date is for a different drama... this is currently scheduled for Q4 of 2023...
I'm only watching for Liu Xueyi anyway .... lol...

So here it is, November 2022 and it is still not out. What a pity. It looks like a worthwhile drama.

This sounds like a dream drama for me ... I am looking forward to this coming out ....

I've seen Queen of Attack, Queen of Capricious, Familiar Stranger, and Am I the Queen Mother Today. He is good in all of them. He has really expressive eyes and a captivating smile.

I'm looking forward to seeing him in a longer drama, preferably one where the FL is a bada** fighter and can hold her own. Let's hope!

I don't know if it's been said yet, but Li Daikun is a trained voice actor. This is why his character pops so much in Word of Honor.
I admit that LDK is one of my "sweeties" on the Cdrama screen, not least because of his looks, but even outside actual performances his voice is compelling and infectious. I'm looking forward to seeing more work from him, and more importantly, hearing it.

But no season 3.... sad.
