I find Raymond Lam's character in the drama has a big flaw, which is flirtatious and not loyal to Charmaine's character in the drama when they were both younger and just started dating.
1) Raymond is no longer the main or equal lead actor who can command for scripts to be changed to protect his image.
2) Raymond as ML no longer has any scenes that show he save FL as the hero of the day.
Hins Law, on the other hand, has played a bad boy 3rd generation rich heir in the waiting, rivalling Charmaine's character and played well. His focus is to be bad all the way and not hokding back, while Raymond Lam was supposed to play a good character with flaws which cause Raymond not able to perform well.
What about ‘me and my perfect husband’. I like that one too. Oh wait that was 2022
I love She and Her Perfect Husband with him and Yang Mi despite low MDL ratings. I was surprised that FL was not overly painted the saviour and worthy one rather ML and FL had balanced roles in trying to make the relationship work despite it being fake in the first place. 😍

Wonderland was ok. Just that I normally have higher expectations for costume dramas especially those with top billing FL and ML.
Modern dramas that emphasize relationships and family like this drama, Best Choice Ever, are quicker to know if you want to invest your time to keep watching or otherwise. This one I sure will go on till the end albeit lower than expected MDL ratings.
This is the best Xu Kai's drama this year so far. The earlier 2 costume drama didn't work me. Who would have thought he can pair well with Yang Zi! 🤗🤗🤗

I have watched every episode from 1 to 117 todate. This long drama has all the good and bad elements of a kdrama. You need to endure many injustice and cringey moments up tp episode 100 to enjoy the good stuff and un-tanglement of all misunderstandings . It is worth the time for me for sure 😅😅😅

Now I know why Ray Chang always play SML or 3rd ML even today. He has the looks and experience but lack instinct and talent in acting. He is around Jeremy Xu batch of actors but Jeremy have long moved up to ML.

2/3 - FL get into troubles, the ever herioc ML comes to her rescue (not in a bad or boring way). Any good looking single and compatible ML and FL working and living together would eventually fall in love (not unexpectedly). In laws starts to rush them to get married.
3/3- FL character is no longer naive and has professional development, walk her own career path and ML reluctantly supports her. Due to their specialty in divorce cases, both are somewhat averse to marriage especially ML. Later they work out their differences and decided to go to the path of marriage

Old TVB costume dramas silly jokes still maintain high level of quality in literature in scripts especially when dealing with a popular scholar like character like Justice Sung.
