I saw the anime first about two years ago but the drama was produced before the anime. I've been delaying watching the drama for so long because the anime was too good that I thought nothing can be as good as it. I was wrong, the drama, the specials and the films did so well!

Yes, they usually remake good dramas and films, like Harakiri, 13 Assassins and so on. But you're right, they should consider remaking the bad ones. They did it with Itazura na Kiss since the 1996 wasn't that good to be honest so they made it up with the Love in Tokyo version.
Sorimachi, the guy who played Onizuka in the original version was awesome! I really can't imagine someone else in his place so I totally have to pass the remake.

Inspiring Generation was a disappointment. I actually watched a drama with Jin Se Yeon who belongs to my black actors' list because I just love the setting but they disappointed me. Gangster war instead of freedom fighting and fists instead of brains. They also ruined it with romantic lines. It wasn't completely off though, it had its own good moments as well. But if I go back in time, I wouldn't start this.

Are you still suffering with your internet or is it gone now?

I can see that everyone is enjoying it and fangirling over the male lead but is it normal that it didn't move any curiosity in me? I told you that it can be a masterpiece and I won't watch it because of LBY :p Maybe you should wait and watch the whole drama in one go?

Jin Se Yeon is still the same. Nothing changed after this period. You know, I threw a celebration party when her character died in Gaksital, I was laughing an evil laugh all over the place.

Then download Ichi the Killer but make sure to get the uncut version.

Lessons of Evil is a Miike's film that I am hesitant to watch. I heard it was pure horror and you know me with horror films. If you got the chance to see it, let me know if it's an horror or more like a psuchological thriller.

I see you're picking up a bunch of slice of life films these days. Are you in the mood for those?

A New Leaf! That drama is absolutely a must for me, Kim Myung Min and Kim Sang Joong ahjussi's in the same drama; I don't even care that a bad actress like Park Min Young is the female lead. I've got to watch to watch this one at any rate. There's also Golden Cross which I am really looking forward to.

You may like it after all, it's just didn't sound right at many points for me. And it was one of my first dramas as well.

Are you talking about Fantasy dramas in old setting? Do you like those types of dramas? Like fusion sageuk and all?

I am in that position right now. I finally finsihed Inspiring Generation, I am over with GTO, I almost catched up with Beyond the Clouds and I have only one Nodame film to go. Now, I can't watch some older Japanese dramas because I need to watch the three winter season dramas I mentioned before spring season comes in.

My busy schedule with dramas is almost over since I finished Inspiring Generation, GTO the film, the first Nodame film and I am almost catched up with Beyond the Clouds. Now, the busy real life schedule start; I hope I will be able to find time for Japanese winter season's dramas. I have three of them on my mind and I have to get down to them before the spring season catch on to me.

New upcoming drama? You mean Japanese ones, right? Or also the Korean ones too? I've got to tell you that I am pretty much interested in the majority of upcoming Japanese dramas. But mostly Roosevelt Game, Black President, Long Goodbye, Mozu and a complete st of other 5 investigation dramas. As for Korean ones, Golden Cross and A New Leaf are an absolute must while I am still considering Triangle. What about you?

You actually watched Emergency Couple?

Yakou Kanransha gave me some of Kazoku Game's feel but I've got to say they're kind of different. Kazuko Game is about a different type of teacher who invades a family's life with his eccentric methods but there's a surprising truth behind that. You should give Kazoku Game a chance and judge it on your own.

I just love Kagawa Oji-san, he has such an amazing aura! He's able to pull any type of character in the most absorbing, believable way ever.

Triangle and A New Leaf are the only ones on my radar especially the latter. Kim Myung Min and Kim Sang Joon in the same drama; YES PLEASE!

Yosuke's suicide attempt was back in 2004, after that he only did films. I am glad he made it because I truly love that actor. Let me know if you watch Go.

My next drama is still unknown. Before picking another drama to watch, I have to watch Nodame Cantabile's films, GTO's film, catch up with Beyond the Clouds and finish up Inspiring Generation. I still have a lot of watching to do before picking something else. But my next drama is going to be somethign heavy, probably a mystery or a suspense drama.

What about you? I see you're watching a long family drama?

Well, everyone seem to be enjoying 14 Days partner. You know my absolute hate for LBY so it's absolutely a no for me. But you is another story. The drama is a thriller and something you would enjoy. If you don't want to then I can recommend you something Japanese instead.

I just finished watching the specials, I just love it when specials are equally enjoyable as the drama. Have you seen Nodame's anime?

You thought it was goodbye? Come on, do you think it's easy to say goodbye to dramas? I don't think so! Proof is: here you are again :D

I heard from many who watched both versions that the 2012 remake was without soul compared to the 1998 version. I won't watch it, I mean how can there be GTO without Sorimachi? Th guy owned the drama!

I won't do it next time ERIN so don't worry about it.

Yes, too much tearing and crying all the time is totally not my thing! You do know that this drama is depressing, right? And if it wasn't a revenge melo I would've never gave it a chance. It's not like I am hating this drama or something, I am enjoying it but melos are frustrating for me to be frank. I am bearing with it so it's all cool.

Who said I am blacklisting WD? I said I will watch it after 30 episodes are out and if this drama remains interesting. Don't make me say something I didn't ERIN :p

How can they threaten to cut you off? You should threaten to change the internet provider! Threatening goes both ways and they're the ones who started it!

So now you have to watch only 14 Days waiting each week for two episodes? That's bad :(

I was actually trying to overlook the cast problem and the fact that one of my black listed actresses is actually in there. I tried to focus on the storyline instead because I love the 30's, I overlooked many things but it's still not good enough. I still have to watch the two last episodes though.

Ichi the Killer is one of Miike's most famous films but not the only one. Audition and 13 Assassins are also pretty famous. Did you watch any of them.

I finished GTO and I decided to catch up with Beyond the Clouds and finish Inspiring Generation before thinking about starting another drama.

Of course it's great to get back into films but today instead of watching a film, I ended up watching Nodame Cantabile and GTO's specials instead.

I saw you finished an horror film and liked it, does this mean that you finished the anime and you're back to films and Running Man before picking another drama?

I was thinking I was unaffected by WITH S2 anouncement to stop subbing because as you know I never watched any of Choi Soo Jong's dramas. Now, I feel a bit down LOL Maybe some cool group will pick this one up after. After someone picking Gunshi Kanbei, I am just all hopeful for subs.

You were asking what the writer of Into the Flames wrote before? It's a sageuk "Ja Myung Go", I didn't quite like the writing of that one but it's alright to give the screenwriter another chance.

Oh thank you Reise! I was wondering what's the drama that I forgot to add to my "winter season watch" and it's The Last Policeman, absolutely that one was on my mind even before Lost Days LOL.

How's drama watching treating you?
