Just based on the drama alone, Zhang Ping was 3 years old when he first met Lan Jue at Lan’s residence. I didn't think they were related. Unless they later explained that ZP’s mom have been with LJ’s dad for some years. I guess we shall see.
I'm on the PingLan’s ship, but I can't help but look fondly at Mowen too. The guy is super loyal to Lan Jue and is willing to kill anyone for him or die for him. The poor guy had teary eyes when Lan Jue was in trouble or sick. He has no ulterior motives. Just have a lot of love for Lan Jue. 🥺

Nobody in their right mind would read the synopsis, look at the genre tags, and the all-male cast list would watch this drama if they want a bg romance. They shouldn't be here to do any rating. This drama is a gem and I'm glad we finally got to watch it after almost 3 years of waiting.

Sure, there may be some legit people who didn't like this drama but I have seen some toxic people talk down on it but never watched the drama. It's all very silly but whatever.
It's bc of the haters who are upset that this aired and not the real danmei dramas. Lol.
You would be surprised what the crazies would do if they only want their idols or dramas to do well and not others. I am waiting for all of the danmei dramas, but I don't condone the toxic stuff some people do.
