I still see posts on IG today saying this is a danmei drama. 💀 Misinformation continues.

It was frustrating because people were spreading misinformation that the novel is a BL. Made the drama delayed for no reason. Glad it's finally aired now.

The novel is not a BL. Even the author had to come out to clarify it a while ago when this drama was made. For whatever reason, the drama got lumped into the danmei live-action category and made it delayed.

The official photos of the main cast in modern and all-black clothing make me want them back together in a modern drama. They look so cool. 😎

It's a 5-minute easter egg episode only on the Youku Chinese app. It is not included with the paid Express Package. I paid $1 to watch this mini-episode. It's when Tang Lian came back and Xiao Se visited WuXin.

They're the real CP for me. The last clip of Xiao Se and WuXin on Mount Kunlun melted my heart.

He was banned on Douyin/TikTok app for 7 days for some community guidelines but nothing else. He even issued an explanation statement on Weibo that everything was fine.

It's confirmed by the Weibo official account that this drama will air on January 29th. The poster is in the album. 🎉

WuXin stole my heart. The second is Xiao Se. But then again, WuXin stole my heart since I watched the first season of the donghua. He's not the main character, but he's the most exciting and charming IMO. Everything that comes out of his mouth is shameless or poetic. He is 90% good and 10% evil. He's the perfect sugar and spice. I would love to see a mini drama series about WuXin’s life from childhood to adulthood. He's not an ordained monk so technically; he can have a lover. I would love to see that.

Xiao Se shows a bit of sadness when WuXin leaves for the first time in episode 7 and at the end of episode 40. They were reluctant to part but knew they would meet again. I will miss these two so much. 🤧

Omg, Luo MingXuan confession to his master Yin Luo Xia was shocking. Even Sikong Changfeng was like 😳. I knew Luo MingXuan liked his master but never thought he would express it. LOL. I hope she will accept his love later on. 🤭

I like Bai Shu a lot. He does more comedy but he can act seriously too when needed. I'm waiting for Snow Eagle Lord drama to air this year. He's the second lead in that one.

If WuXin were to stay with the gang in most episodes, then I would have rated this drama higher. The trio in ep 1-7 was the best IMO. WuXin is such a fascinating and attention-grabbing character. I never want to skip his scenes.

WuXin figured it out on his own in and confirmed it in ep 4. Meanwhile, LWJ, Tang Lian and SQL didn't know until someone told them in episode 20. This is why Xiao Se and WuXin have a strong bond. WuXin can always guess what Xiao Se is thinking.

Xiao Lingchen: Your Majesty, it's actually very simple. Which son do you hate the most? Just reserve the throne for him. The Emperor is destined to be a loner.

I like this guy straightforwardness. And with that, the father will not make ChuHe the new Emperor. He loves ChuHe the most and thankfully, ChuHe doesn't want the throne.

I'm in love with WuXin. He's such a handsome and charismatic character. The only issue is that he doesn't get enough screen time.

How the heck did Shifu get prettier?! Ah Ye couldn't stop looking and drinking vinegar. 🤭😍

In the novel, he was thought to have died but returned at the end. He was heavily injured but was saved. The live drama might do the same thing as the novel or keep him dead. Hopefully, they stick with the novel.

I’m waiting to see Li Fan Song and Fei Xuan take revenge for their master’s death. Xiao Se promised to call upon them when the time was right. I hope they will kill the Dark River’s lord. Poor Li Hanyi without her husband. 🤧

I'm hoping Tiger and Crane will air soon. Brotherhood is the focus, not romance. Yay!
