She was good in Monte Cristo! I loved Yamamoto Mizuki but I hated her character and wished Monte Cristo ended…
I actually thought he kinda ended up with Airi in the finale. He accepted that Mizuki's character is married and has a kid. Things wouldn't be the same as before. In the final scene we see Airi and Monte together. I am sure he will move on and develop romantic feelings for her eventually.
There will be probably 10 or 11 episodes. They haven't announced the total number of episodes yet. You are maybe mistaking the release date 7 (July) for ep number I guess.
The coin locker scene was so sad in ep 4 and when I searched about it, I've found out there is a really term called ''coin locker babies'' in Japan. They leave unwanted babies in public lockers because they are checked regularly but unfortunately many babies are found dead. I hope this barbaric practice is over now.
Rest in peace Miura-san... I hope our love reaches to you. You will be missed! We have lost an amazing actor. I will always remember your cute chemistry with Tabe-chan. You are so loved and respected beyond words!
I only like Rika here. She is honest with everybody about what she wants. She is independent but also actually loyal to the ones she cares for in her own way. Kanchi just pretends to be the nice guy and he tends to snap and shows his true colours under stress. He is a very dangerous and pathetic guy. Rapist Mikami should never be forgiven! That scene was very disturbing and shows what a disgusting monster Mikami is. Domestic rape is very common and I wish the producers of this drama had been more clear about this issue and if Mikami ends up with Satomi, please nobody mentions about anything about women's empowerment in this drama. I want to see Mikami rot in jail.
Yukie Nakama is perfect for mysterious women roles! If you enjoy her other dramas like Saki and Utsukushii Rinjin, I'm sure you''ll enjoy this drama, too.
Yuriko Yoshitaka is the cutest! My heart broke a little when I saw Daiki Shigeoka play one of the most annoying and pathetic characters in jdrama history. Well, he can't always play charming characters so as not to be typecast I guess.
She is one of the most talented actresses in Japan. I'm sure she will be known worldwide in the future. She is very versatile, talented, amazing and beautiful!
Why did almost all characters have to end up self-harming and become disabled and dependent on their partners to prove their love? What kind of twisted idea of love did Nojima Shinji back then? Mariya's jumping off from the helicopter is the most stupid thing ever! What did she gain in the end? She got stuck with the most disgusting, pathetic, selfish man! And he had beaten the shit out of her before! She shouldn't have forgiven him! He is easily manipulated, does foolish things like cutting his hand (so that his wife leaves him) and he resents and blames Mariya for it! He can't even stand up for himself... and in the end he suddenly gets mature (ha!) He will blame Mariya for it too. I wish Mariya would have learned to love herself first! I can't believe this scriptwriter is the same person who wrote Love Shuffle and Bara no nai Hanaya! I watched them in the past so can't remember the details but they didn't have these disturbing subliminal messages there as long as I remember. The things I loved: -They took care of Bird Blue throughout the drama! I appreciate that! -Nana got her eyesight and she is the most reasonable character in this drama. I loved her character. She is a strong, beautiful woman!
Of all the Japanese husbands I've seen on dramaland, Azusa's husband is the trashiest. Ichihara Hayato's style is perfect here. He must be the coolest gardener in Japan!
I wasn't interested in watching it at first because I'm not interested in idols but when I saw a lot of positive comments, I started and really enjoyed it. In every episode something unexpected happens, there's never a dull moment. In my opinion, male idols are the worst. (this series is about some underground female idols, tho) I always think behind their pure image, these male idols have threesomes and tell nasty stuff about their delusional fans. In fact there is a male idol in a famous Japanese group who boasted about waiting for a girl to get drunk so that he gets what he wants. There are also strong rumours and news about his partying with underage girls. They still promote this criminal and he seems to have lots of fans but whenever I see his ugly smug face, I just wanna puke.
Kentaro Sakaguchi's character is amazing in this drama! In this heartless, brutal world we need more people like him! I also like that he treats Toko with respect!
