Let you in on something funny. Was a great supporter of novoland pearl eclipse but got really frustrated due to the ending (almost bashed my laptop - no joke).
I really did not have a liking towards the leads at all.
My parting comments were - the eunuch mu de qing of the emperor is the real mvp. 🤣🤣

Have been told for decades am a sarcastic dry humorist. 😉

I felt that in the part where she was captured & tied to the stake, she kind of instigated for TZ to 'kill' her. It has happened before so what difference does it make if he does so again.
YD wanted to hate him forever but could not bring herself to. She wanted to cut all ties / disappear but towards the end her love for him still won out.
I watched & noticed YD was very conflicted - TZ had to kill her to continue his mortal life while she thought he would 'betray' her again thus the shock that he actually cut her loose & wanted to to run together with her. 😄

Techinically that is fraud. You paid to watch the series yet can't do so.
Demand a refund!
I hope the issue get resolved soon.

I watched some BTS a couple hours earlier about the scene where the 4 (TZ/YD/YM & XY) were basically 'planted' into the sands of the desert.
All four were dedicated considering they were going against the elements plus they had their funny moments as well.

I am actually a supporter of second leads or supporting actors romance in series because i look at the bigger picture.

I think most viewers took it to heart about the candle having too much screentime 🙄 & that there seems to be quite a few subplots that needed to be tied up.

Just watching the leads EVERY SINGLE episode will get stagnant & boring really quick deviating from the actual purpose of it being called a 'DRAMA SERIES'. 😏

Am still rooting for twin Goudans. 🤣

Am a silent watcher just for LLTG no comments. Am stating the next drama after IS.
If fated to be we shall continue meeting in MDL. 😉

The scene where tortoise knows who been flipping him should be coming up. 🤣

my 🍅 thoughts, at first I felt that ep 40 & 41 were fillers then I had a change of heart.

1. I like that the sub plots are being wrapped up.

2. the growth of YD / YM and TZ (YY) is simply put - amazing :

a) YD was a silly fairy in the heavens although she cared deeply for those near and dear she had just fallen in love with YY before starting all over again in then mortal realm. She is a silly carefree spirit (admittedly because she had no memories) but with wit. She formed a family bond with the spirits of yelan mountain that she helped those captured escape. She finally met YM her one of two friends from the heavenly realm and has a strong friendship while unknowing falling for TZ. Now that she has her memories she is displaying so much more maturity than when she was in the heavens. She wanted to break off all ties with everyone and be alone to grief and figure things out. I can see her transform from silly kid to rebellious teenager finally a grown woman. Yangzi is portraying YD character faultlessly. its not easy to display growth in a character as the surroundings, clothes even the people around her are the same. One can actually feel YD has changed, the sadness she illuminates from founding out that TZ is YY mortal reincarnation was too much for her.

b) YM has matured as well but although he cares for YD alot and has been secretly loving her in his own way he prefers to stay silent than voice his feelings - most friends will not tell the other if they have feelings for that particular person because they fear if the person does not want to be with him/her there might be no friendship to be had after. Am thankful YM character did not become obsessive like the candle or ao xuan.

c) TZ has the same characteristics as YY he was indifferent to feelings of love being brought up in the monastery in the mortal realm but as the story goes - "love isn't fireworks sometimes love just comes softly". He has learnt to love and show affection as a mortal, his memories coming back to him has him in a turmoil YY and TZ are the same yet they are not. YY could never express his feelings for YD but with TZ he could but chose not to till the very last minute when he realised pointing the sword at YD that she is the one he owes his love to. YY is already at his peak in celestial power so his character (TZ) has to grow more to emotions than his mortal cultivation. that is seems is the focus for TZ character growth just throwing in artifact finding like a bonus or he ain't going back to the heavens in one piece.

the lingxiao sect leader being an evil guy is an odd twist but just want to have this subplot tied up as there is still one more artifact to find. 🙄

I want YY/YD romance to start, all loose ends tied and twin goudans like last week! 🤣

I believe it should be heaven because according to the trailer YD finally figured things out and will support YY in his position.

YD is the glue that keeps them together. its like a reluctant brotherhood of sorts.

right now its all about how hurt YD is how TZ is heartbroken etc.
YD has to realise it herself to be with YY she has to work with him not against him.

We only got 20 episodes left & TZ needs to find artifact no 4, go back to the heavens, start repairing his relationship with YD while preparing for another war. So much to do so little episodes left. 😝🤣

Honesty is the best policy. YD was not honest to both TZ and YM. She did not tell both of them she recovered her memories plus she does not know everything that subsequently forced YY to erase her memories.
She severed ties with YM because she felt betrayed & is hurting but YM did suffer for her as well.
I must sound one sided as well but while the series presents itself from each individual's prespective we are looking at it from the outside in. 😅😅
