Alright I have rolled through some of the earlier comments and here is what I feel about the interaction between YD & TZ.
Always remember TZ is YY but mortal once TZ finds the artifacts, mends his celestial vest eventually dying a mortal death he returns to the heavens as YY. They are one and the same entity just in different lifetimes or time zones (modern lingo).
YD knows that TZ is YY reincarnation that why she mentioned since YY owes her so much may as well keep the debts rolling and gouge out her half heart blood to save TZ at the forgetting river.
She fell in love with YY all over again but this time reluctantly & openly when in the heavens she gave her love freely while hiding in the cottage. Difference to me is at the heavens YY is none the wiser while TZ is feeling all these emotions, trying to figure them out & eventually surrendering to fate.
YD & YY relationship has been dubed as unfortunate fate or fated to never be together when its obvious to me that the both of them are going against fate which has been written they are meant to be with each other but need to work / fight for love NOT against it. 😏

In all honesty I felt that the person with the balls is YD. She loved & fought with deep passion. Although YY eventually TZ were born with powers/ high positions and are fillial to their duties that is where it stops, the men (YM included) have the 'stick' but no gumption or sarcastically put 'balls' to go against the rules or fight for what they believe is right = for their love & right to love.
My theory is just based on IF XY really could repeatedly fast forward time to change the ending, why is he not doing so now? Obviously something happened that YD is in the picture & not Ranqing? These are just us exchanging theories & assumptions on what may or may not happen next but once the episode is aired we have the right to dissect & study the plot as we wish. 😁
Am a glutton for punishment but a scene in IS (ep 25) been bugging me. The scene where TZ's soul separated from his body and had a conversation with YD. YD asking TZ who he actually is - TZ said would you believe me if i told you i am a deity living in the heavens? While YD answer was - if you are a deity then I am the empress of the heavens. Is this a clue? Because dijun is a supreme god so his wife should be the empress right? Just leaving this here for after thoughts. 🤣🤣🤣

My 🍅 cents : lots of people are saying it was such a nice ending to part 1 but honestly I must be the only one who was left scratching my ear loop over how this was the ending. apart from the duel between candle and YD with TZ knocked out cold on the sidelines this ending was sort of slow and kind of meh... 😅
2) I guess the two actors work for the same agency as CY, for all we know they could actually be a real couple.
3) definitely glad that candle is extinguished by non other than YD herself now that was the plot twist because our girl could finally defend herself and make a stand when she had practically no voice in the heavens besides having to rely on YY to help her out due to low celestial powers. The artifact(s) are to save TZ but YD seems to be making use of them more often than TZ. HOWEVER if candle gets resurrected in part 2 I will be so done with the director that he would not know what hit him till its over!😡
4) and again YD has to gouge out something from her heart. the poor organ is getting a beating of two lifetimes just because of YY / TZ. That is the fate of the relationship between a powerful supreme god and fairy - duty and responsibility before love while another believes love is eternal and all that is needed. YY does love but has to put his duty first while YD who has no responsibility wonders why YY would not even confess his love to her. With doubts come misunderstandings and petty troubles.
I stand with the fact - better to have lost than never loved at all. YY & YD did love each other in their own way in the heavens then fell in love again in the mortal realm this should make them realise their love can withstand the test of time and obstacles thrown their way but will it be to late?
