Is this particular style of wig going on massive sale or something?
Almost every xianxia I watched has a character whose locks turned white. 😛
From TMOPB / L&R then WRTW now IS. The question that comes when a new xianxia series is aired will be - so who gonna end up with the white haired wig? 🤣

Exactly what I been trying to clarify.
YY vest was damaged not during his transportation during rebirth to mortal but when TZ first left the mountains otherwise this drama would have a part 3 to go through TZ first 20 years in the mortal realm. 🤣

WRTW was suppose to be an epic series to boost YY popularity because he hardly starred in ancient history dramas. With the scandal & the series poorly received in a way it affected the actors as well.
IS was getting licenses & such since a year prior to airing based on release of trailers so I think the scandal broke after the series aired nothing much could be done. Unless that the reason why part 1 was reduced from 40 to 38 episodes?
Maybe the candle has more scenes but was cut at the last minutes?

just popping in to somewhat clarify on the WRTW part.

the scandal was the male director and male producer were having their respective affairs.
the palace maid actress was having an affair with the director so because the scandal was exposed before the series had finished being filmed the female producer to appease the production company/sponsors had to cut out as much of the palace maid scenes as possible (which wasn't much anyway).
for IS the 'scandal' if there is any was reported after the series was aired so maybe that is why scenes cannot be cut..

now I feel petty.

all I have to add is - THE BEDROOM SCENE have better be in the series and has to be EPIC!.
otherwise this production team will not redeem themselves in my eyes.

I just feel that due to such evil oozing out of the candle (too many scenes of that actress) that they made a secondary lead to be the 'nice couple' - no drama / feuds / love rivalry.

My 🍅 thoughts - in all honesty ep 33- 34 are just fillers. Disappointed to say the least however the YM / Zhao Lan part was tied up nicely.

Extra thought (giving the actress the benefit of doubt) maybe she isn't doing whatever the media said she did? Look at WRTW the support actress/palace maid had her scenes completely cut out so if candle's (extremely long & excruciating scenes) were not cut it means she ain't getting down and dirty?

Why didn't TZ eat that pearl? He about to die finding 2 artifacts then losing one, gifted a memory pearl but refuses to consume it. This dragging around is getting on my nerves & we got 2 days left to finish part 1 of this series. 🤨

my opinion CY had too many tub/pool scenes in this series. Just keep the damn bedroom scene for us. :-)
