YY was burdened with guilt before going through the pool and being transported to the mortal realm so that is what I base my assumption on - a huge shock that he met YD followed by guilt.

my point of view is that heavenly emperor will inform the god who controls mortals lives aka si ming to arrange a life of no love not because YY has to follow the heavenly rules but because YY is going to the mortal realm to investigate the demons however how he ended up with no memories and going through human trials/tribulations is anyone guess at this point. TZ did live a loveless life being an orphan and taken in by a religious sect (similar to a monastery) that had upon the old sect leader's death banned only the sect leader from falling in love and marrying, TZ was a favourite so the sect supervisor kept pushing for TZ to be the next leader when TZ never wanted the position to begin with.
The falling in love part happened when he left the mountain and met YD just before he brought her back to his sect so the timing has to be considered as well at this point of the series TZ has fallen in love BUT is not the sect leader YET so did he break the rules? Yes and No.

Am loving our 🥔 & 🍅 thoughts. Lets keep this going since we having so much fun comparing notes. I think the main plot of the series goes as : i. Heavens - deep forbidden unrequitted love ii. Mortal - friendships found & lasting a lifetime (mortals hardly live past their 60s due to lack of medicines etc) iii. Demon/heavens (an assumption) - test of said everlasting / tried love. The mortal realm is focus on TZ/ YD friendship as they were sort of enemies then slowly became friends & introducing YM as a good friend into the mix testing their loyalties/sincerity & principals of being cultivators/spirits. Most lasting marriages start out with friendship right? YD & YY were levels apart in the heavens sort of like master & servant too but in the mortal realm they are at par both technically being mortal with almost no celestial power. At least YM's extra mission is sort of resolved I just wish that candle was resolved as well but again her time will come.

am glad that ao xuan is gone and this mini fight is over and done with. one of my complaints is that the fight scenes in this drama are a tad mediocre (my personal opinion). the production invested more to the custom built sets/costumes and CGI (this is expensive).
luckily YM has more street smarts and TZ has the brains to realise that the candle is up to no good. YD is just flocking around like a happy bee gathering nectar oblivious to anything. that head in the box scene was so hilarious. 🤣 In agreement that when YM and TZ work together they are more likely to succeed in their mission(s) and rest in peace to any one man/woman/demon/immortal or aquatic creature who wants to cause YD harm.
Candle is starting to lean more being out of reality in her wish to make YD into an elixir for TZ. I get obsession but to make someone into a pill to heal another is downright insane. if she doesn't get killed by TZ please just put her in a straightjacket / padded cell and throw away the key.

Most disappointed was WRTW which really upset me because the production team was considered the best of the last 3 years topping the team that did TMOPB. Fame just got to the head of the team which caused such a shameful downfall.

Really hard as I am not male but I have female friends who are so into these crazy anti aging fads its scary to see them go for injections/lipo & major surgery just because they don't want to see that wrinkle or sag. Some get so caught up in it my friends daughter went for rhinoplasty & breast enhsncement at the age of 18! She died before turning 20 due to complications brought on by the surgeries. Am a firm believer - if it ain't broke why fix it? 😅

No clue at the end of the day CY is in his 30s & his knows at the most he can get lead roles for another 5 years before he moves to 2nd lead then older roles. That is the circle of life.
