Alot of dramas are not in my list at all. I am usually go with the flow kind of person. 😉

Honestly i have no idea either.
But these damn agencies will mostly get the actors who have not made a name yet sign a 3-5 year contract. Once the actor becomes famous unbeknowst to their better judgement the actor will be made to sign another 5 years air tight contract either by force (blackmail) or by tricks/lies but don't quote me that is why a handful of actors who manage to escape started their own production company. Example Yang mi but she sold jaywalk & only has about 10% shares just to get new talent to join.
Deng lun started his own company & looked how that turned out. Yang mi just started her own company as well and I wish her all the best in that.

the most endearing of YD in her true form in my mind is the 2 scenes :
a. she insisted Jiang Chen was not the person who hurt her because 'flower spirits' are honest/true to their feelings and would never hurt a mortal. its an indication that once YD falls for a guy she won't change her mind or half heart even if it kills her.
b. when the cgi of the lotus shed tears that slowly hit TZ that what YD said was true not all demons are evil they can feel betrayed/pain/sadness and cry as well.

HATE the candle but she acts evil and crazy at the same time better than the evil heavenly empress in AOL which is rather impressive. Been known to watch a series on my laptop curse at it yet be on my mobile at the same time commenting on a blog. my family has learnt to accept that I am a looney bin at the best of times. 🤣

The reunion of Lu Ming, YM & YD was so well played. Lu MIng was so happy to see YD after so long the tears were convincing. what is it with him and fruits anyways? He was always eating a cucumber then hugging a watermelon during a nap I guess the production was like waste not want not and had a scene to devour the watermelon they bought.

It was the TZ hanging onto YD accidentally letting go but managing to catch her that did it for me because he manage to save her this time when he was abit late the first time. I liked the small part TZ pat his own chest after catching YD (like the asian mothers would do to their young child when they are scared). The jellyfish jumping will be a dejavu moment once memories are recovered.

now lantern scene had me cracking up.
I just saw 2 lanterns hanging on the banister and YD was holding the one when the scene switched to the sky I was like 'holy, YD you been busy making all those big ass lanterns?!' no wonder the girl disappeared in most of that episode. *silent jab at production for the candle having more screen time again!

only one episode today (thursday) another 6 next week and the 3 musketeers have only found 2 artifacts.

ep 27 - around 06:18 mark after YD slashes the demon who tried to attack Qin Qi and just a second before the tiger demon gets off the floor to attack YD.

as for CY I think he waiting for his contract to end and jump ship provided he does not sign anything without a good counsel beforehand I think he waiting to see how his friends fair before he does something.

Had my eyes on a xu kai / yang mi (yes old lady again 😛) modern drama set to air soon so lets see how long my contemplation out of hibernation after IS will last. 😁

I had the same reaction (hiding in my museum cave) after TMOPB then Love & Destiny.
Was borderline depression. 🤣

Normal plot twist - wanting something one can never possess or have.

Now am an ancient artifact so am not as quick in the mind as I use to be but appreciate a same mind & no holds barred sort of commentator. 😁
As for Cheng Yi can only hope he did not sign a 5 year contract where he can never be in a relationship/has to do whatever acting job the company takes for him/maintain a certain weight etc that is what that company is famous for. They sort of force you into a corner till you break.

Hello potato 😀. Saw your thoughts but due to time difference i have not added a comment yet.
Am mortal & need my 😴.
Saw that about CY sleeping while dangling in the air there are some scenes as well where noticeable CY & even YZ showed sleep deprivation due to late night/early morning filming. They were pale & eyes slightly bloodshot.

The mortal arc is dragging out since TZ & YD met I think this is the evil candle's 5 seconds of fame so to speak. Saw a few comments about actress that plays candle 🙄 enough said.
If we hate her so much we will love TZ & YD more once their romance actually starts (when is the biggest mystery next to sherlock 🤨) plus once the memories return we will all suffer & cry along with the main couple like we were the lovers who jumped off the bridge to begin with.
At this rate will the finale be condensed into a multitude explosion (multiple characters being killed & the lovers not being together?)?. I hope not.

I get it about watching ongoing dramas, novoland pearl eclipse was a somewhat big let down to me & I have now watched airing dramas then came here to put my currents thoughts as I see them & get to interact with people who have differing opinions.
This is a first for me & I am liking this (minus the haters). 😉

Was pointing this matter out to another commenter, with only 6 episodes left of part 1 & no word on part 2 being aired the remaining artifacts have not been found, TZ & YD have not had their romance & I think there is another arc to go through (based on leaked clips) i just hope its not a drag then kill almost everyone off in the 2nd last episode only to have the lovers hugging each other in the finale & us wondering how they got there??

I want her deleted for good like GONE, GOODBYE, NEVER SEE YOU AGAIN, HAPPY TRAILS but no she seems to be sticking around.

nothing is perfect mind I just spot these things by chance.

I use to have that concept wait for the entire drama to be aired then binge watch - the last was novoland pearl eclipse and boy was that a minor mistake in my mind.

I got so caught up because of the trailers of Immortal Samsara that was release a year ago that I had to watch the premier than got caught up in the moment, no turning back now. :-)

I would say that the reason why YM is so single minded is because YD in the heavens was YM sole keeper and companion as he was taking his human form.
He is grateful and wants to repay YD but ONLY YD so that can be a blessing or a curse depends on how one looks at the coin.
